I remember how Vicki got to be on the show. She was the winner of the Miss Firecracker contest. My friend and I collected TV guides. This is why I have no brain cells left to relate in today's world. My head is filled with the Mouseketeers trivia. The Tuesday song. Spin and Marty. The Leave it to Beaver song.

I was a teenager in the wrong decade. I say that because when I was a teenager, I gravitated towards the old classic shows like this, and 60's and 70's music. I also say I wasn't born in the wrong decade, because I absolutely loved the toys and cartoons of the 80's, which was my childhood.

I didn't want a water bed. When I get into bed I want to be comfortable, not "Victory at Sea." 😄 For the younger members of the audience, "Victory at Sea" was a 1950s television documentary about World War II with a famous sound score composed by Richard Rogers. I remember the record amongst my parents recording collection. I also remember not being allowed to stay up for "The Carol Burnett Show" because it was past our bedtime.

Being shut-in and watching some great Carol Burnett Show skits. This one is great! Relatable when couples get in touch with their feelings, whether married or not, funny stuff. I suppose some couples are going to suffer a different kind of China Syndrome during the Covid-19 event. It may highlight differences in world view that couples may not share. Maybe the breakups and divorces emanating from this event will be called the China Syndrome! The big relationship KaBoom!

While generally it's easy to remain neutral and accept Carol and Roger arguing as general couple banter, and find it funny, this one kind of stood out. Roger's statement was quite insensitive and cruel. Carol was absolutely right: what he basically meant was that if his wife had a better body (however you define that) he would spend time with her. If I was in Chrissie's place I would have smacked him for saying that, or immediately jumped to Carol's defence.
