One of my first dates with my future husband, Dr. Barnett Seymour Salzman, was to the Castle to see, “Mother, Mother, Mom.” I think it was Barnett who secured the location, being the new Jewish convert psychiatrist on staff there at the mental hospital. I was too dizzy to make the connection of our Gerry at the GP and the fabulous poet who wrote this play! Your poetry, that first book, was a vital part of my life. -And continues to sustain my quest for depth and understanding!!!! You are a heroine to us Mormon hippie/musicians!

I find it interesting and sad that people would brag about relatives past while they followed a false religion. Like being proud of your 5-6 grandfather for being a sea captain even if he was in the slave trade! Ridiculous

Homosexuality has a heavy judgment administered by God Himself upon those who commit it and support it. Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13,.1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Romans 1:26-28. The Bible doesn't speak of homosexuality very often. But when it does, it condemns it as sin.

The one thing the church has taught me is that no prophet is perfect. Unless Christ said it I always filter it through what he would do and how he treated people.

It sounds like you must feel quite righteous doing the chapter and verse quotes. Righteousness when used to lessen others is considered a less than sterling quality. There are several passages that condemn self righteousness. No one can stand in judgement except God Himself.
