I was told by a missionary that he'd listened to "Mormon stories a few times." The last pair n i discussed aspects of John Larsen's talk on the Bom and I texted references for verification as per request. People are getting the clue. It was Professor Plum in the library with a candlestick!!!

Imagine all the Mormon facts that missionaries learn once they leave their home.

At “issue” is often used in wills or probate in 1700 & 1800. (Still used in probate today). “Died without issue [child]”

I lived nextdoor to a missionary house for years. It was a revolving door with missionaries. It was literally every three weeks there were new missionaries. Can anyone tell me what they change locations and partners so often?

They're made to put software on the phones they themselves provide that allows the "church" to monitor and control internet usage. I allow missionaries to use my unfiltered internet with the understanding that we will not be discussing their beliefs or organization, and most of them want to look into truth claims and such. They're figuring it out that their "religion" is false, and it's crushing to most of them.

I remember when I was in the CCM (Mexico MTC) circa 2016, an area 70 came and spoke to us, in that talk he said “within 5 years 50% of you will be inactive or have left the faith, that is what the data tell us, HALF OF YOU, do you want that to be you? How can YOU change that number?” cue a list of things that were supposed to keep us ‘faithful’ and ‘strong’. So that number doesn’t surprise me, of course that has accelerated as time has gone on.

A never Mormon here! I am so grateful for this wonderful panel and the thoughtful questions posed to them. It is helpful for me to better understand my Mormon family members and friends. I always knew there was a lot of pressure on Mormons in general, but now I get why some have completely collapsed after serving. My prayer is that programs like these may help make the church a more loving, accepting organization.

How is that loving they neighbour as yourself? The Mormon Church is teaching people to gossip and be unkind! Even the Pope has accepted and allows same sex marriages (2023). I am never a Mormon. I listen to Mormon Stories all the time now. I 💕 loved your story.

I am an ExMormon. I had 3 little boys of my own. Late 1970s and early 1980s. I was cub scout leader forever. I loved it . Back then these boys were in my community. Some had come to my daycare. Some were neighbors. I took these boys into the woods. Sometimes overnight. We had camp fires. We sang. We hiked. We ate Smores around the fire. Great experience. Once one boy slid down the hill about midnight and went into the creek! He was traumatized! To save the situation I comforted him and wrapped him in towels and put him in my sleeping bag with me! The furtherest thing from my mind was rape! Something like that would be unheard of now! I loved my cub scouts! I was with them a lot! They went to school and Church with my own boys! I think the suspicions now are barbaric!

Satan retains all the powers a spirit has. He also retains his entire memory. The power he has is subject to the limitations of the vail & what he may directly use. Thus he is limited pretty much to the level of temptations that those with mortal bodies can endure.

UTAH POLICE ARE HORRIFIC, ignoring leads, destroying evidence & even covering up Mormon crimes! WARREN JEFF'S CHILD-RAPE then MARRIAGE FLDS CHURCH/ELIZABETH SMART KIDNAPPING/GABY PETITO MURDER/ TAMMY DAYBELL (Tylee & JJ) MURDERS /RUDY FRANKE'S TORTURED KIDS were all VICTIMS IGNORED BY THE UTAH "LDS PATRIARCHAL" POLICE ( until BODIES WERE FOUND!) UTAH & REXBURG are hot spots for MORMON CULTS, CRAZIES & VIOLENCE (because they know they will be tolerated) UTAH LDS CHURCH, UNIVERSITY & POLICE have been repeatedly accused of silencing victims of rape, ignoring domestic wife abuse & even covering child abuse in NUMEROUS LEGAL CASES!

The 1st couple of hours seemed to be reminiscent of meetings with TBM LDS women leaders. They enjoyed serving in RS and loved the sisters. But, when John started up the rapid-fire questions in that last hour, that's when it got real, and the questions elicited the other side....the heartbreak, disillusionment, and loss. Well done, Margi and John, and the women who courageously spoke their truth.

I guess today investigators have access to informations the church was hiding for years! Missionaries will get that informations. I was on the mission without having a clue about some things I was teaching. I had no clue about different versions of the first vision and many other things! And the very few I've heard about, I was thinking it can't be true. Today it's another time.

Our generation had no vehicles to fact check doctrine and get access to the church historical texts and books. We had to believe what was said to us under the cloak of prophecy or revelation. Young people and older people now have GOOGLE!
