You are wrong, my friend. Эта композиция впервые была исполнена в сша в 1925 году. Ранее, украинский композитор в начале 1900 годов представил её миру в четырёх вариантах с разницей в несколько лет. Принадлежать к дохристианской эпохе она никак не может по нескольким причинам. 1. "Песнь колоколов" действительно напоминает перезвон колоколов. Колокола стали появляться на церковных храмах с приходом христианства примерно в 9 веке в славянском мире, поэтому раньше этого момента воспевать колокола не могли так как про них не знали. 2. Украина как современное государство сложилась 30 лет назад всего лишь. До этого была в составе СССР в качестве республики или региона ( это как штат в США). 3. До периода СССР так называемая Украина была в составе Российской империи, была провинцией и существенной роли в жизни страны не играла, так как была на обочине жизни. Название Украины переводится как " у края" , "окраина", "в стороне". 4. Не всему что говорят современные украинцы о себе самих можно верить. Мы видим, как сегодня переписывается мировая история. Например, в украинских учебниках сегодня всерьез пишут что Иисус Христос был украинцем и что древние украинцы выкопали черное море, а грунт сложили в кучи и появились кавказские горы (кавказский хребет). Это на полном серьезе. Миф о своей древности в Украине раздувают после распада СССР, но ведь это неправда! 🗿Это не отменяет значимости этой композиции и её уникальность и роль в мировой культуре.

С пятой редакцией Щедрыка киевский хор ард управлением Олександра Кошица совершили гастроли по странам Европы в 1919 г и в США в 1922 г. А уж потом, щедрык перевели в 1936 г на английский и исполнили. Ты кого хотел надурить то, в век интернета Щедрык - украинские народные новогодние песни, из дохристианской эпохи

Frohe Weihnachten, Paul. A few years ago, I was in Paris on a summer Sunday when they had a full peale of most of the city's bells. I made a recording of it. They start at a great distance, just one bell. Within a minute or so, every church bell has joined in, and they continue for several minutes. Notre Dame's big bells set a bass clef line, the others are chaos. ' Hark! how the bells, sweet silver bells All seem to say "Throw cares away." Christmas is here, bringing good cheer To young and old, meek and the bold Ding, dong, ding, dong, that is their song With joyful ring, all caroling...' This carol reminds me of that day.

Masterful arrangement of a timeless carol, Paul. I loved the sub harmony formed from the tonic progression in the pedal - so awesome! Loved the gentle, quiet introduction as if heard at a great distance bells ringing, and leading by wonderful crescendo to the completion of the journey with the bells playing overhead. Yep, that’s exactly what it is! This instrument has a fully pneumatic action, so there is lots of air involved which you can hear here 😀
