The gall of Bundy to insist on anything after what he did was downright wrong. The judge had a soft spot for the fiend.
@Shadywolf09
@Shadywolf09 Жыл бұрын
He had a soft spot because he saw how bright Ted was. Ted's IQ was 136, which is fitting for the judge to remark upon in the end. He called Ted a "bright young man" and called what had happened to Ted in his life was "a tragedy" and "total waste." They locked horns due to Ted's defiance, but the judge held nothing against him; he was simply assigned Ted's case. In the end, after sentencing Ted to death, the judge told him, "I have no animosity towards you. Take care of yourself," to which Ted thanked him for his words. It was evident during the trial that there was a strange sort of respect between judge and defendant and I think that was largely due to Ted's intelligence.

The display of a relaxed attitude to mislead the court did not work. When he points the finger at the judge and he scoffs at him, he remains dumbfounded for a moment and then laughs as the people nearby laugh. The judge's authoritarian tone, from experience it puts him in difficulty, he clearly has difficulty speaking and his fake calm and submissive tone highlights his anxiety and fear of being in front of a man who looks at him with authority and doesn't let himself be fooled. Ultimately this individual has been mythologized as an intelligent and super serial killer, he remains a mass killer, smart but not intelligent because he is a slave to his actions, even if it must be recognized we are faced with a very acute and dangerous individual. I believe that the judge when he heard him, he already had enough elements in hand to rightly consider him guilty but he made him speak allowing him to defend himself, in his own way! That dangerous man, in this context, is completely confused and even funny in certain statements and behaviors ,he knew he had no escape from this judge

He was intensely ill and needed to be stopped. He told his girlfriend Liz Kendal that he was sick when she asked him why he killed all those women and teenagers, oh yes, and he also killed one man! I read somewhere that Bundy was a mind-control slave, according to a government informant. Remember, he was active in local government and knew people associated with government higher-ups as well. The Illuminati have undetectable ways of turning someone into a Manchurian Candidate, trauma based, to where they can make anyone do what they want. Sometimes the person remembers what they did and sometimes they do not, depending on the degree of trauma they inflict on an individual. God only knows the truth in Bundy's case.

If Bundy was a black guy, he would be chained to the nines. Back stacked, and 15 officers escorting him. He would of been thrown in the chair, no chance to speak his guilt. There are alot of educated black people, who don't get the chance to plead their innocence, and walk around the court like Jack the lad.

Ted lives for these moments. Maybe bc it takes the seriousness out of what's really going on. He can detach himself from what he's done and why he's there,. I think it makes him feel part of the team, instead of being the one the team is against.
