Honestly the best case/ representation of charles manson would be him explaining why the people he had killed deserved to die, I was under the impression if what he did was right, he had some inside information about how bad these people are (when sociopaths kill people, they tend to believe they're accomplishing something good, while doing it the wrong way IE taking the law into their own hands) anyway charles manson never expressed anything that would be realistic for a sociopath to express (WHICH WOULD BE GOOD ON HIS PART IN TERMS OF GETTING HIM OUT OF JAIL INSTEAD OF MAKING PEOPLE FEEL THE WAY YOU FEEL ABOUT HIM, this is why personality disorders are basically someones personality getting in the way of their own life!)

Mostly from prison, as his followers were fanatical about carrying out every order of his, no matter how ridiculous or insane, including the murdering of Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, & at least 6 others). What I'm saying is, if you know anything about Charles Manson, you'd know he was never the kind of guy to be shaken by the spotlight in the least bit there, fella. At first I listen to him and thought: “This man is intelligent to know what his rights are, and he is convincing.” Then I thought: “Whoah, he got me!” That’s how he convinced his followers! He twists things around to make him look right or justified

@@IreneMason-hx9lx i doubt he influenced the killings that much. They were on LSD and probably ended up getting carried away in their 'trip'. After the bust, Manson was the easy-blame target. LSD in the wrong enviroment can make people do insane things

When I'm starting to watch more and more Charles Manson interviews, the less I think he was crazy. Evil for sure, but not crazy. He's a product of the US "justice" system.

@PBRStreetgang2 жыл бұрын
@@floridacoder He's extremely lucid at times. He's definitely a psychopath with a serious ability to make others do his will. Kind of like my ex-employer. I think the "crazy" is mostly true but he cranks it up for the media. Don't get me wrong, he was a dangerous individual but the media interest gave him a lot of exposure to act "crazy". Should have gotten the chamber before people could obsess over all his interviews and writings. Too bad CA decided to incarcerate rather than terminate. Just my opinion.
@floridacoder2 жыл бұрын
@@PBRStreetgang I'm normally opposed to capital punishment because if you get a wrong conviction you can't undo the death penalty. Some people are so evil and so clearly guilty that I wouldn't totally rule it out. Texas is too extreme and California is too... California. For me in regards to Manson I think he should have either been executed or put in a mental institution. If he was sane and understood what he was doing he deserved the gas chamber. If he was insane he doesn't belong in prison and especially general population because of the risk he influences more crime. It would come down to a battle of psychiatrists and which ones are most believable. I don't think there was consensus among professionals if he was legally insane, unfortunately.
