The Banjo is an African instrument and there were also violins present in Ancient Africa. I saw some in Ethiopia.

A bit of history to inform you. Cromwell in England sent many Black Irish and Black Scots to this country and made them slaves. True history. I bet that you didn't know that were thousands of Blacks in the British Isles in ancient times. The Romans encountered them and wrote about them.
