I was in high school in 2018 and made it. If you can play well while on the move, you'll have a good shot. Practice lip slurs and box drill at different tempos (ranging from 80-200bpm), that helped me improve the most.

Thank you! My best advice is to play with lots of air and support. Both of those things require tons of air. Just make sure you play with control
