We have an amazing red drum fishery year round in our area. Capt.Jeff

This was filmed a couple years ago in the Cape fear River in February. Good sized redfish winter over in the high salinity backwater creek up and down NC's coast. Although this wasn't Bogue Sound or Swansboro's area... we do the same thing all winter long here. We've had 50+ fish trips lately in our area. Capt. Jeff

Is this the bogue sound? and i get the great oppurtunity to fish there once a year, and we hook up with huge stingrays with heavy duty gear, and small sharks. thats it. is there a way to catch these puppy drum during the summer in the sound? i would love to hear if you guys have luck. Im from Buffalo, New york

tide looks slack, i catch em in Fla uually on outgoing tide in areas like you are fishing
