If she really wanted to pass that tradition down, perhaps she should have taught him these things from birth, not just when the camera comes on. It doesn't even have to be something done everyday but maybe they could've chosen 1 day out of the week where the family sits on the floor and eat with their hands. I think it's a very sad thing not to pass on traditions and languages to your children.
