I believe that many, many of our problems would be resolved if we would utilize the imagination of our soul. Imagination does not mean something is not real, as in “You are just imagining that.” Imagination is the ability to “image” that which your physical senses cannot see. How you use your imagination is, of course, up to you. Some people imagine horrible scenarios, as we know, and some of them cross the line and act them out. But other people, like inventors and visionaries, open themselves to receive images of “incoming” forms-ideas, concepts, and possibilities- that need to be shepherded through the birth canal into reality. My experience with holy imagination is that our soul, unlike our mental abilities, is not bound by reason or logic. It doesn’t need to know why things happened to us as they did. Our soul resides in the present moment, in the here and now. And it is capable of receiving insights and resolutions to obstacles that our minds could never conceive of.

How lucky I was to have a mom who said- ask for anything you want in prayer and as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone and is meant for you, it will be granted. I started with two years of praying for a kitten. And there came a lifetime of knowing you ask and can receive. Small things and big. Thanks for the reminder and being such a strong force of light and humour. My goal has been to truly inspire my listeners to connect with their imaginations and let it flow towards the life they desire and ideas that heal. Thank you, again. 💜

So true! One day, with great inner sturring, with anxiety, I said a few words out loud, allowing God to...act. Little did I know it was a powerful prayer ..of surrender. Boy, within a few hours, abrupt major changes happened. Wow! Like a hurricane, I was injured, and in a short time all, all was destroyed and lost. Wow! I was crushed like grapes and died a hundred deaths. I suffered many types of pain, very deep pains so very few know about! Hello the true Dark Night...for many years. Since then, it has been a very slow process of painful give & take but I continue to move forward. I am a different person now, living a much different life but I'm not sure why I had to go through so much loss, pain, grief...for so little in return. It's not from the lack of effort on my part nor from a fear of being empowered! Like the Phoenix, I rose up in a new ways of serving others but there were some, my very teachers, who despised my inner strength, passion, my hard work. They did all they could to undermine, to interfere with my efforts, even to stop me advancing as if they were a brick wall. The bottom line is...be careful what you wish for, the words you choose! Changes will, will happen...and they will occur not the way you imagined or want! Losses, great losses will occur! There will be countless crisises of faith. One then will ask, "Now, how do I live in this world?" Twenty one years later, I still don't know how! Watch out for the false visions!

We are afraid to imagine the good, positive, different outcomes and possibilities for ourselves and the world because we are so averse to the potential disappointment and grief if it doesn't happen that we've actually trained ourselves out of thinking about or even knowing our highest dreams and aspirations (something many of us learned from the perceived powerlessness of childhood). It's such a powerful thing to start to see that for what it is, and start to practice envisioning, imagining, and dreaming of our highest good personally, in our passions, our relationships, and as a global community and species. As children living in a Communist country during the 80’s we were playing imagining we were free to travel and having all the goods and all the things that came after the 89,s revolution. God's been giving me this same message. When we all focus on paradise, we create it. I am aware of the dark agenda and they are aware of the power of imagination ,but I will not PAY attention to evil. My thought- money is too valuable to spend on what I don't want! Praying for the celebration and community with the devine.Gratitude is the magic of prayer. I have had many problems, illnesses, losses,disappointments and other things that are prayer worthy. But I am not a person who is looking for an answer or a favor from the Universe or God's grace.I love and I understand that I grow up and gain strength and resilience in my life from my experiences with hardships and I still feel the gratitude for being alive and learning from all the things that happen. Love and the grace that I receive from the process of being present and loving what I do have. Joy remains in the worst of all of my life, we all have a choice how we feel and how we deal with each precious moment of our lives. Looking at this again almost to the exact day (both a '10' day!) one year later, and I think I may watch it daily!. Truly it's not at all incomprehensible for me to imagine a world where everyone "gets along." It seems it should be easy, really, but daily I encounter those inane beliefs of "I'm better than you" and "Different equals bad, and we're not the same so I can't accept you." Not getting along seems to all be a safe distraction from looking at what it is we truly fear. Thanks for trying perpetually (30 years or more!) to open minds and hearts. So needed to hear this, framed as only you can do, Caroline. Plus, love that story! I too would have granted her heart's desire right then if I were God. But I expected because it was a "special occasion" that her prayer would be highly ritualized and elaborate and take a lot of time. She prayed like my mother. Very simply and on the spot. My grandmother was of an orthodox faith and frowned on there not being a special place for prayer in our home. "But where do you pray?" she'd ask my mother. My mother, "Anywhere, all day! "

This is so incredibly helpful. I've felt my best strategy was to avoid news so as not to dwell on sickness & horror therefore not create more ikky energy. But I can do better by imagining quantum health & rapid delivery of relief & supply of the perfect "all that is needed" beyond my own ability to even dream what is exactly what is needed. 21:14 The biggest reason we do this, in my humble opinion, is as a defense mechanism. If we believe it will happen, we are afraid that if it doesn't, we will be hurt. And the reason we are afraid that it will hurt is because we have experienced it in our past. So, as a defense mechanism, we tell ourselves "that could never happen" out of fear of the pain that we will experience if we believe it WILL happen and it DOES NOT happen. It's a mental defense mechanism rooted in fear.
