I love the fact that we are only responsible for our own part of all this, that each one one of us has to do responsibly our part so that it will help the whole, to go forward in a way that is making sense for ourselves and others. This is like a puzzle that will end up being so beautiful when we put all the pieces together. Trust and belief in the process one step at a time seems necessary. You are right, integrity has a lot to do with this, and how do we do this except from learning from our failures, (pause...) learning from them being the necessary part. I was intrigued by your comment that we would probably not live to see the new mythologies, so I googled on what is the difference between stories and mythology. I know better than to try to brainstorm for the answers to these types of questions. Sometimes you get the answers to them while you're doing something else or in dreams or in the "elsewhere" of quiet, meditation, and rest.

References World War II, Europe, Greece, perhaps even Egypt (because most people don’t want to see it as Africa) and none of the talks I’ve listened to is anything mentioned regarding the African diaspora and its part in the development of the world

Fantastic lecture- I have a question - What about the dismantaling of societies and structures of say the West African countries inhabitants that were kidnapped and enslaved - hence rituals dismantled. What about the First Nation (native Americans) of the Americas that already had a totally different societal structure that has been dismantled. What about the Indian subcontinent that had a structure of economics, education and perception that has been transformed to the extractive capitalistic model and what about Australasia and the parts of the world that has ‘adopted’ Euro centric world views - including linear Judeo Christian views of time that were viewed prior to this wave of transformation as cyclical and cosmic? We are just reverting as well as transforming but the damage started in the 1600s to 1700s maybe??? Just my sincere question. It is not a flippant criticism. It comes from a heartfelt desire.

Are you saying Christianity can not grow and evolve? Do Richard Rohr’s alternative orthodoxy and the Universal Christ have no future in organized religion? (I attended a book discussion on The Universal Christ at a UMC church, and I’m Catholic.) Your answer matters. Thank you. I have faith in divine blessing, that God’s lovingkindness guides and sustains all creation. Further, that we are invited to say Yes to God’s hope for humanity, that we embrace, embody, and extend God’s lovingkindness. Be the blessing, be the light. Commit to kindness, mindful kindness.
