Ooh this is bringing me too tears :) my mother used to sing this to me all the time when there was a storm. It really helped me get over my phobia of thunder. and to see it being put into this beautiful and stunning dance just makes me that much happier. Im glad I stumbled upon this video

Her jumping mechanism was not textbook(extra leg too high) and caused trouble during her growth spurt. She overcame it just before retirement. She is a winner

This is my favorite of her skating. She is going to be the next US Champion. Well, at least for 5 years also. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a medal at the World podium soon.

Oh goodness, that ina bauer was so beautiful and her spiral into charlotte was so elegant. Even though she didn't make the World team this year, in my eyes, she has a made her point and she will be recognized on the international stage if not in the US. Furthermore, I think her long hair is pretty.

I didn't mean she really copied her but Bebe skated to this song a few years back. I love the song. Vienna Teng. I really hope Caroline can grow a bit, and gain more power and speed, and fix that jumping technique. Perhaps with more physical strength she can adjust her jumps accordingly. One thing is for sure, she's a fighter, and that counts for a lot.

I really wish Caroline the best...she just needs to grow a bit, and gather more strength and speed and fix that technique. I hope it happens. why must every figure skater possess what other skaters have? each skater is unique and caroline brings something different to the table as do all skaters. She may not have the presence that michelle had or sasha's "jumps to sky high" but she has what it takes to become a top skater. Speed is something she will gain in time and as for her immaturity, she is still young and after a few more experiences at the senior level I'm sure her skating technique will improve.

i really do not agree that her components scored arent that high just because a lack of speed because she looks so beautiful on the ice that sometimes you cant tell that she is not moving that fast she looks like a little gliding princess to me

To a degree yes. But Caroline can complete a program cleanly, Sasha cannot =) Big difference there. No pun intended, just saying the truth.

she is very flexible, its just that her jumps r not yet perfected. they loook very good, but sometimes she's on a wrong edge for flip and lutz.
