I saw this on TV back in the day. I was enchanted by this performance but even more so by the song. From the day I knew this song as one of Vienna Teng, this is still after all these years such a precious thing to watch. This introduced me to, in my opinion, one of the most talented artists.

I’ll never forget this performance. 15 years later and it’s still one of my favorite things. I miss skating so much.

I’ve been looking for this performance! I just remember a very tiny girl skating to Ave Maria. But this is even better than I remember!

Do not like her technique. Choppy and not elegant more like a checklist. Terrible.

She had so much promise. She just kind of faded away. Haven't heard much from her. That high vaulting leg is probably so deeply-rooted that it would probably be impossible to correct.

There are good skaters and there are very good skaters like Lu Chen with extra artistry. She puts her soul in every move she makes.

Her layback spin is absolutely PERFECT. Gorgeous arch in the back, wonderful lean and stretch with the knee and ankle in her free leg TURNED OUT AND STRETCHED OUT! That's the way you should be in a layback spin.

@sharon newman: Biellman did not create the spin. it was around many many years before it was named. She (Biellman) simply made it popular.

I love her routines so much. There's so much emotion in the routine it's like telling you a story, and it's better than all other skaters I have watched. Caroline has what it takes to be the greatest skater, but she has to work really hard on her techniques and manage her weight. I believe it is possible for her to do be the greatest figure skater, but will she rise to the challenge? :(

LOL look carefully, it's a pearl spin + bielmann combination. She went from pearl to bielmann.

Tara's jumps showed incredibly poor technique. Even her signature 3-3 loop was under rotated and wouldn't get by in CoP today. She managed the rotations by being short and light enough to get around. Had she ever grown up while still skating, her technique would have needed a major overhaul. Chen has it all over Tara in presentation, as well.
