Following my being coned severally (the Loresho Ridge mama was not my first and I figured won't be my last) I came to the same conclusion as you. I completely support the idea of structured assistance. I know that I am a kind hearted person and I will not allow con artists to deny me the opportunity to help others and receive the joy I get from it. So what did I do about it? I joined Rotary Club! We cannot allow people to rob us of our duty and privilege-- that is how I see it! So I continue to forge on and pray for the best. (PS: I love the birthday idea that you have and the high fashion tea. Please let me how I can help/ get involved). Kudos for the great job that you are doing:)!

hey Carol, yes structured giving is the way to go way. i work in church and i have met enough of this people and when you raise money esp for medical they later want you to pay other things and they dont want to account for the monies spent. It is so disheartening, but like you say when you have structures it helps to eliminate them.People even come up with stories of dead relatives lying in the morgue for months but when you ask for documents, details some will abuse you to your face.
