Yes! I love listening to pop songs with humming, shouting, and binaural beats. Her and Grimes are my go to people for that kind of music. They really have helped me relieve physical and emotional pain :D . I guess their stuff could be considered trance music. I haven't meditated to her music before, but I have to Grimes (Halfaxa album) and it works. I'll try this out next.

This was a reply, but seeing as I put so much effort into this, I will post it in the main feed - 0:00 - 1:55 Predominantly So Hot You’re hurting my feelings with “the Gate” background music (apparently parachute can be heard here too but my ears are not that great) 1:55 - 3:45 Both Gate (lyrics) and continued humming of “So Hot you’re hurting my Feelings” 3:45 - 5:30 - Some chimes (maybe from parachute?) and “Gate” 5:30 - 6:20 Gate and continued humming of “So Hot you’re hurting my Feelings” 6:20 - 6:50 - Gate and Humming continues, but a feature from Parachute. (The 1:38 part of Parachute to be exact) 6:50 - 7:00 - Ocean sounds, presumably to match ocean of tears. All the previous songs are also playing 7:00 - 7:55 : Gate, mostly 7:55 - 8:15 : I can’t make out what this vocal extract is from, I think it may be parachute but it may be an addition? 8:15 - 9:08 - Mostly Door 9:08 - back to humming so hot your hurting my feelings So yeah, I think that’s all the time stamps. I’ll make any edits for any additions :)

That part @ 7:59 where here vocal vibrato loops seemingly infinitely, then transforms into a gloriously expressive guitar-esque lead solo is a WONDER TO BEHOLD. I'd love to learn how that was accomplished, such a fantastic transformation!

Probably somerhing such as recording the vocals into a synthesizer and played it out as melody using an attached keyboard which is then looped at the same time as real vocals are song. Simpler than you'd think, if youre familiar with recording/ producing modern music. Not that takes away any of its beauty.

this gorgeous thing made me realise that a lot of the recent videos and tracks that follow this theme remind me strongly of the Neverending Story. Not the cheesy but lovable 80's movie, but the actual novel: With its surreal scenes and doors within doors being a major motif, cradled by the underlying theme of discovering who you are and what's really important to you. Even the "voice smoke" reminds me of Uyulala the oracle- just a disembodied voice- who to exist must always sing, bouncing from pillar to pillar as an echo.

I want to share that this song has actually helped me through the last weeks, which were riddled with stress, isolation and anxiety as I tried to rush a very important project throughout my Christmas holidays. I've sought emotional help from friends, I've prayed, I've surrounded myself with love and music and everything has become a lot more bearable. I think two songs in particular -this one and Rina Sawayama's "Hold The Girl"- have helped me through a lot of the struggle. You could say I've crossed "the gate" now, and I feel a lot more relaxed and happy, finally, even if just for now and I don't know what will come afterwards, as I'll have to present the project to my teachers in a few days, at least I have this moment, when I can play, make art and chill out without guilt, and I'm thankful for it.
