I think one of the reasons I love this show so much is I needed something that was both funny and had a lot of depth, heart and sadness behind it. The sitcom writing and performances in this show are fucking *hilarious*, 😆 like Legit, I would love to watch Any of these sitcoms, but then Wanda and Vision’s story is so sad and heartfelt beneath that. The sitcom thing playing out her grief is so much sadder when you’ve seen the show once; that she’s doing it because of the deep love she has for sitcoms and how they’ve always been her comfort (especially surprising for someone like Wanda, I wouldn’t have immediately expected); how she processes her grief that way by living out this dream of what hope and love she has for Vision… it fires on so many cylinders at once. Then there’s the mystery too 😆 the Twilight Zone moments. Then the comics reflect all of it and the show makes you want to read the comics and vice versa. Also Billy and Tommy are real lol they will return 😂
