Book club isn't my type of color way, but I'm also obsessed with how yours is working up! I started mine yesterday and ended up doing the same open block C2C pattern you picked since I was worried the normal one would be to warm. This pattern really makes this yarn's color pops shine. 🥰

Thank you so much for your information and your tutorial on the C2C method. I was watching blossom crochet explain it, and it was a good tutorial, but I didn’t like turning at the end of every row because it was confusing me. I found the way you do it. and hooked by Robin. So the good news is I finally understand it now and I am doing the open stitch. I had to rip it out two times. I’m not gonna lie but the third time it is perfect and I have made quite a bit of progress. But thank you so much for these tutorials and videos on crochet and plants and really anything you wanna do your videos on. Thank you so much.

I picked up two skeins of the Birch Bark for a c2c blanket for my oldest daughter for Christmas. I also have two of last years' colourway Wild Flowers that I'm making a Sunflower style Granny Square blanket for my youngest daughter for Christmas. The colour changes are much further apart and I'm colour controlling to keep each block a single colour. 4 rounds is over 8" square unblocked.

I ended up with 2 Prismatic and 1 Book Club, the green ones as well as browns. I am in love with these cakes. I’m sad I didn’t get more than 1 of book club. But might do a C2C like yours with prismatic. So fun talking Anniversary cakes and c2c today Nick! 🩵🧡🤍💛💚

When I saw the title with "bookclub" in it, I thought you might be doing a reading/book blanket. Similar to a temperature blanket, you assign a yarn color to a book genre and crochet a line of that color when you read the genre. I'm not disappointed, but knowing you like to read, I think a 2025 bookshelf blanket is something to consider.
