You guys sound awesome! I have always loved Carouselambra, and never understood why so many other Zep fans dis this epic song. Thanks for covering it. I was wondering why your guest keyboardist Joey chose to change the outro of the song? Everyone else stayed true to the original, to be truthful I did not care too much for the spacey synth at the end. If he would of stayed true to the original (I’m sure he’s perfectly capable of it) this song would have been perfect. I have a couple of requests that I’d like to see you guys perform, Thank You, How Many More Times, Trampled Underfoot, In The Light. Take your pick. You would have to get a guest keyboardist again I really liked Joey in this video and think he’s a good addition.

John Benard we wanted to do more than just replicate it, so we asked him to do a solo. We also extended the outro groove and hit it harder than on the original. Bassline wasn’t a duplication of the original line, btw, just in the style of. We did TU awhile ago, might remix it. Thanks for listening!

A Classic Statement - That's why after John Bonham Died, They KNEW They Couldn't Go On with 75% of the Band. Jimmy Page Himself at the time in a later Interview said it, "We could've have gotten another drummer, Could've gotten the Best Drummers in the World to Audition, But We Could and WOULD Never Replace His Spirit and Emotion. As Soon as I Heard He Was Gone, I Instantly also knew - Led Zeppelin was Gone". John Paul Jones Said The Same, "How can you go on with Only 75% of Your Soul".

Fantastic playing by everyone! The outro was interesting in that one can imagine how Zep would have expanded the jam live which was in the works for the US tour in 1980. Everyone got the tone right for their parts, that keyboard synth is so 1978 but sounds cool. As I've stated before on George's channel, it takes an accomplished jazz drummer to get Bonham right. So many guys are flailing away trying to get his power but it's all in the wrists and having finesse and taste. George gets it because he's got it.
