Alain Blair is one of the best presenters I've seen.....never dull and always clear, no nonsense......and he has my OCD tendencies.

That kid is a great angler, and is probably better than most. Very clever and knows how to catch a carp! There is also alot to learn, and you learn while fishing all the time. He is most likely calmer on camera than alot of people would be.

Really nice to see that such good anglers still can enjoy catching a smaller carp. Now I wanna go out with my old zander rod and catch some beautiful little carps with a float and worms I find in my garden. Greetings from Holland.

Watching this video from Nash makes you realise how staged and set up all the Korda ones are! Genuine and massively talented guys @ Nash. Opened my eyes to a whole new way of carp fishing by not following what everyone else is doing and try my own thing

Awesome stuff! Couldnt have written that first day any better! p.s Kev said about finding that sweet spot, that "zone" regarding the depth to fish a zig. 0:14:24 6 inches either way... in 12ft of water that's 24 possible "zones"... (goes back to scratching arse)

What are the silver big pit reels Alan's using in the first scene with Kevin ?
@CarpMagic9511 жыл бұрын
Yeah its about the direction it comes from the actual spool thing its originally on. Putting it water cant make it twist, making it twist was because you had it coming off the wrong way from the spool it was on originally.

i bougth this nxt d-cam mono and i tryed to spool my reel like Kevin did. I must say it didnt work for me..i used the way He didnt like and like is almost perfectly on my reel.

The ball maker is really cool but i think the balls are to small. I experimented with a snowball maker(those from the toy stores) but it isnt powerfull enough te compress the balls for long range baiting.
