CARP FISHING| NORTON DISNEY, one last BIG FISH before winter! Mince pie review No2.

Hello and thank you for watching my video today. An opportunity came up for me to sneak in a last overnight session of 2022 and I decided with my local lakes being really difficult for me this year I'd head to Norton Disney instead.
I was really excited to try a new rig and luckily it worked very well for me. My old reliable techniques also worked which was great to see. In the evening I had a great time eating some nice food, having a couple of drinks and of course doing the mince pie review!

nice video dan... some nice looking carp as well...i use almost the same rig simple but effective for me the last few years the only difference i use a crank style hook!...tight lines....

Firstly congrats on your 4k Dan 👏 That was a great session & a nice carp to boot as well. Swans are the bane of my fishing, I was pike fishing this weekend & constantly being plagued by swans, there must have been a carp angler previously in my swim & the Swan was hoovering up any bait that was dropped. Bit controversial with the score there for the frangipants mince pie, the mincemeat to pie ration was very low, I would have gone for a 6.5! When the wife phones, yep ok, yeah sure, right, yeah fine, OK bye, yeah, 10 minutes later, why would I know why your curling tongs don't work!!!! Just a side note has youtube been messing with user names? Not sure why they stuck 1924 on the end of mine 🤔

Bloody swans were mental there and just tried to wipe me out. Mince pies are incredible I could slam them down all day! Your name is still coming up the same at my end mate. Thanks for watching as always

Great rig. tie a loop in the end pass loop throw eye of the hook .that way you can change your hooks with out using loads of hook links. I've had the same hook links for months . Yep am a tight Yorkshire man. Great video.
