Here in the U.S. I wouldn't go without my tutti fruiti power smoke. I just started using it 3 seasons ago and it has really helped me increase my catch. I was very skeptical but tried it on the advice of a friend. Now I am hooked on it. Used corn twist last year and they love it.

After watching this video - I bought the whole range, and I now use gallons of goo. I agree with the guys here, who have no bias - that you need to use as much as possible every session. Dont worry how expensive it is, just buy as much as you can. I mortgaged my house, and took out a loan - and now my fingers smell great too.

This video was interesting and informative. It would have been better if it ended in a 3 way wrestling match, in the new skid proof korda pants, all covered in goo of choice. I think raspberry pink Spooner would tap out early, in a choke hold from buttercorn Ali, but then a suoreme pineapple Dove would channel his inner MacGregor, go pop a roundhouse at Ali, pineapple goo flying through the air. Something like that would be good.

Been using goo in my cat fishing for years now,, We did an experiment, we put out 2 baits, each was a large lump of luncheon meat but 1 was untouched outta the tin and the other was soaked in either squid supreme or king crab smoke, over a 3 day session we found that the goo’d meat was taken at a 3 to 1 ratio over the untouched. I never use untouched meat since that session.

I’m here in the California,US and have wild carp that have never seen a Boilie let alone goo. All winter I SMASHED it on Almond Supreme soaked Pop ups. 21 fish over 2 months for me in cold weather I don’t care what anyone says these work. PB came off a Pineapple Smoke last summer, so I can say Almond Supreme and Pineapple Smoke are my go to.

My take on the washed out bait is that carp think the bait has been in the water for a while and therefore “safe” to eat, I have had some decent fish on washed out ones in lake water put aside in a tub

yeh exactly lad spot on...the fish dont know if the bait is hard or soft until it gets near its gills...in which case its hooked already most times. Washed out look so different to a new boilie out of the bag.

Lads me and four other lads got a lake to use its about 12 Acre Quarry the water is crystal clear it's about 20 ft deep in most places it was a carp fishery till the owner died ten years about the same time under water 7 came out I got a pineapple and almond supreme smoke to try in a bag when is the green smoke goes in the water cloud looks and luminous yellow I thought the carp wouldn't like it turns out the more you use the more frantic the carp will be .one day I took 30 ready tied bags first one went in at 615am and I was tieing new bags about 12 o'clock I only used the goo once the bag is ready poke the goo in the bag by the knot give a squeeze it packs the bag out solid and as soon as the bag melts so does my reel been carping for 25 years and never had a days fishing like it we think beteew the two of us we had about 500lb of fish in a day we had to leave the rods out to eat. will never forget that day ever and won't go anywhere now with out at least 3 or 4 different types it 's just as important as my rods . keep it up lads loved the itv show but underwater is the way forward for me

@@g0dseye80 We are talking about a bait additive here, each flavour is supposed to enhance your bait, therefore you should only need one flavour if what Korda says is true. Having tested it, it made no difference to my catch rate. Baits without any goo on caught just as often as the baits it was used on.

I’ve used goo since it came out, I’ve tried them all and picked my favourites and I use them pretty much everywhere, if your fishing in winter where bites r hard and feeding times r short why wouldn’t u want a bait that’s more attractive than your freebies? I for 1 would guarantee that it does work and does give u that edge

I’ll agree that it is quite pricey but I’ve never had an issue spending 13 quid on a kilo of bollies and using the whole kg in one quick over night session I’ve been using goo for years and caught everywhere as a result I’ve got about 30 different flavours now and chop and change but have my favourites but it does go the distance even the ones I use all the time last for months out of all the good I’ve purchased I’ve only ever purchased the same one twice as it was my preferred flavour yes it’s expensive but people are happy to shed out £500 plus on 1 reel or a rod but get all tight arse when it comes to bait and hooks it baffles me

But on a more serious note . I can see how on heavily stocked specie and match lakes that goo would work and I do like Korda and their products and have enjoyed nearly all their vids . But to be honest . Korda goo has never worked for me personally at all . I have got about 7 or 8 of them and i fish rivers and canals . Boilies , corn , pellet , groundbait , bread , hemp and even maggots soaked in the stuff and i havent had so much as wobble of the quiver or float using the it . Doesnt mean i wont try other flavours of it though . I wouldnt rule out anything completely in fishing due to situations and circumstances . But i do think that on rivers and canals or natural venues that arent managed by anyone and arent stocked and topped up with regularly with fish that goo just doesnt work . Whether it be because the competition for food between the species of fish is a lot less on the venues i fish or that goo just looks so alien to them . The fish in the venues that i fish arent interested in Goo . I have the feeling that it actually spooks them . Im sure others have had good results on it though .

Its expensive dependant on how you use it, like they said in the video. I bought a bottle of pineapple supreme 3 years ago and still have plenty left. In that time i've soaked several tubs of popups. I put a tiny squirt into the tub once a week for upto a month. Seems pointless to go much further as I don't plan to leave the same bait in the water for over 24 hours. If you go through a bottle of this stuff in 6 months then you must be applying it to bags/putting it in mixes.etc. And that's when it becomes expensive, and in my opinion - less effective.

Nope, because when you cook your bait you will cook the goo out of it. First cook your bait and when it's in the bucket then put some goo on it. It will soak into your bait. I use it after I cooked mine tigers. Good luck mate...tight lines 😉

Curiosity got the better of me after watching this , For 2 years I have seen this and avoided it due to the price. Now I been a sucker as it's not goo at all. its like milk, and in UPHAM FARM I blanked not even a nock! 3 rods diferent rigs and using goo on the pop ups and zig. Not impressed , Waste of £24.00 After saying this , I have now fished a Small Pond , hooked one in the fist cast using pinaple After no bittes at all. i wonder if this overpowers the water. Here is a general rule. In cold, overcast, miserable weather use strong flavours: Garlic, Almond, Clove, Bunspice etc. In nice weather use soft fruity flavours: Pineapple, Strawberry, Molasses etc. In strong wind mix a strong and soft flavour.

Mate, sticky has made great bolies for years and then they sell additives like tuna liquid and krill liquid. It’s about adding things to make it better as a hard boilie maybe won’t work as well as something that has flavours that will leak out much quicker than something that might not act in the same way.

The rumour was it contains flourescein which is what's used to dye the water in drainage systems to detect where leaks are coming from. Fluroescien is widely accepted as non harmful to the environment and non toxic. Think of it this way, if flourescien was harmful it would be illegal for use in our drainage systems as it could find it's way into our water supply. It's also used in some medicine's. I assume if goo does contain flourescien it's for the smoke effect of the bait.
