And there gonna die anyway if they do that, they are an invasive species and its not like the fish are gonna be shipped back so why not give the fishers something to do, have a community event and it can also help the local economy a bit. Super huge nets could catch up alot of native or endangered fish too. The point of getting rid of carp and invasive species is to prevent destruction of the marine eco systems and native species

Me my grandpa uncle and dad all agree that these Asian carp need to be eliminated from Kentucky and Barkley lakes in order to restore balance to these lakes we’ve been going down to Kentucky and Barkley lake for many many many years I’ve been fishing down there since I was 6 years old and every trip we had down there at Kentucky/Barkley lake we use to catch hundreds of fish within a week and now since 2017 the fishing down there has become so miserable that we can’t even catch a single bass within a week of fishing in the summer or winter that’s how bad it’s gotten down there, it legit brought a tear to me and my family’s eye’s to see such Great Lakes with so much fishing potential get destroyed by these stupid fish it’s gotten so bad now that we won’t even go back down there until these asian carp are eliminated and the bass and schools of bait fish fish are restored the only way i think Kentucky and Barkley lake can be carp free of these intruders is by draining both lakes get rid of all the fish keep the non invasive one and start over with fish hatcheries but If I know the state of Kentucky and I do they won’t do that they’ll say it’ll cost to much money to do that bowfishing for the fish ain’t going to cut it these fish breed like tribble from Star Trek the original series they keep breeding on and on and on and on and on.

To the game wardens of Kentucky Department of Fishing and Wildlife.... Here's a guaranteed way to maximize removing the invasive Asian carp out of your lakes, ponds, rivers, and creeks! Massive electric fishing! It could stun the carbs making them easier for removal and if any other fish was stunned during the process it's not life-threatening you can simply wait till the fish overcomes the initial shock and reintroduce that fish to the water! Massive electric fishing day and night would decrease the Asian carp population tremendously if it's coordinated and performed by experienced fisherman as a fleet across the waters that are being fished!!! When they jump out of the water turn on the electricity when they hit the water they'll be stunned and you can scoop them up with a net quickly

bein is that these type of fish like greens, or lake and river plants as there food source, why not have one way to catch alot more other than a bow and arrow, set a trout line with at least a thousand hooks baited with vegtables, broccoli i don't think there's been enough experimenting to find out which vegtable the carp would like the best but the dnr could do the experiment.. if the fish and game when they find out , could hire fishermen to set the trout lines. at one time they could have 5000 hooks and bait in the water over night then take a day or two to bring in the catch. this if it would work would be a faster method than missing a shot with an arrow an arrow is to time consuming because of missing the targets. to catch the baby hatchlings could place a thousand or crayfish traps spaced out with bouys, baited with vegtables to catch the small fry, that can't take a large hook.
@davidjessee77015 жыл бұрын
