This looks like a hazard when off roading so high in the front of the bike. Have you encountered any issues?

That’s a fair comment and something I was also concerned about. As my T7 is the World Raid version it’s much wider at the front, and if set over the tower is well off the ground. I found this out recently when I dropped the bike on black ice (video is on the channel), and no damage to the tower area where the tablet is. HOWEVER. If the bike rolled over I’m sure it would be an issue, but id have other problems then. Im trying to grow the channel and need more subscribers, there please like and subscribe.

Never had an issue, it’s the same height as a road book, and it has a digital road book.

It would be good to hear how much effort and distraction is involved in using it. We need to keep our eyes on the road?

That’s a very good point, i set up the routes before i ride, and have a Bluetooth controller close to the left hand for interaction (if needed). Its also much bigger than any motorcycle NAV, and i have the display set to medium so the buttons are bigger.

@@Getting-On is it worth the expense and hassle, when you're phone can do the same? I'm not convinced.

Most modern smart phones have very limited independent GPS chipsets and reply on the cellular network for location and this is not very precise (approx 50-100m). The TriplTek T9 Pro (aka Carpe Iter 9) has 5 GPS chips with a 0.5-2m accuracy, that a lot more than most GPS units. I do appreciate its an expensive outlay, but i sold my Garmin XT and BMW Navigator 6 for approx 950 and bought this for about 1100, so small outlay.
