I have DMD2 installed on an Android Smartphone with induction charge and use it on my T7 as well. The map subscription is great and I'm planning my next trips along imported gpx tracks. Have a good season 2022 💙💛🏁🤛🏼

Great 😊, soon you will be able to record GPX via dmd2 as well 👌, and point to point navigation too, but that’s a bit further out in the future.

Sim är nog bra att ha i, självklart kan du ju köra utan. Bara ladda hem de kartor eller gpx’er du vill ha, så kan du ju köra off-line. Men jag har det billigaste abonnemanget från hallon. Är ju bra att kunna ladda ner saker, kolla online kartor, använda Waze eller Google maps etc.

Tja, Hur funkar den för att se film om du filmat 4K GoPro, läsa mail, kolla NetFlix, skriva text mm? Hur stora SD-kor klarar den? Hur står den sig mote en Samsung Active Tab eller liknande? Vore najs med en film om allt annat än DMDB och kartor, typ det som ingen annan visar. Tack för bra rulle =) // JOhan

Tack för videon, en liten fråga bara,, du sa att plugin var gratis om man köpte plattan (Carpe Iter), men ser man på din, så är de ju som "köp" och inte inkluderat ?.. eller missuppfattade jag dig ? Tack på förhand.

Det står som köpt ja, men det är förinladdat och enabled. Så jag har ej betalat något för det. Ingår vid köp av Carpe iter paddan 😊

I think there are some digital readers, but i have Noor looked in to it. And think they would require a ico, and those aren’t cheap either.

Another option is the Hugerock R71 from Aliexpress, which is a lot cheaper, however the Carpe-Iter has a really good mounting system (plus POGO pins for power).

I strongly do not recommend to use this product. I have bought it and I think it is way to expensive for what it is. The support of t he company is terrible. They do not answer and the dealers they give the feeling that the problems are never seen before. The terminal has a incredible consumption of the tablet and the loading pincs of the cradle do not charge the tablet en enough. In order to solve that they have connected a direct charging cable but the connector the use for this I believe is not the correct one, and even this is not working so at this moment I can not use the cable. Do not understand why they have made their own GPS software on this terminal. If I use the tablet and then switch it of after reaching destination I need to restart the Tablet each time again to regain GPS Fix. So for me a no go and really pitty I bought this product.

Ohh, I’m sorry to hear you had so many problems. I think it is great, had none of the issues you are talking about. Asking questions on drive mode dashboard FB group gives you feedback very quickly. I’m sure it must something wrong with your unit, or the charge module. The loss off gps signal I heard after some updates, can easily be fixed by the Gps software tool that is built in. The only time I had something near to that issue is when I have turned it on indoors, so shielded with no reception.

T7 is way too top heavy. There is NO advantage to having a top heavy bike.
