Phly at roughly 4:50 you question the sounds, as to why you can’t hear someone behind you but someone in front of you (and your flying moving vehicle) is extremely loud, well how come you can’t hear that ambulance? You have to remember that sound would be barely heard at 200-300mph or even less especially to your rear, but the sounds in front of you (that you happen to be traveling toward) are going to be heard a lot further out

Lets not forget, the He-111 was originally designed to be a passenger plane, just like the Ju-52. The fact that the Luftwaffe made the He-111 the iconic representation of WW2 is on a whole different level. The Do-17, Do-217, and Ju-88 can in some ways be considered the first purpose designed bombers. But yeah, really underwhelming.

Well today the BRENUS has had quite a glow up, as it now boasts a pretty nice array of tools at the comfortable BR of 8.3, such as thermals, a laser rangefinder, IRCM, and a pretty nice lineup to back it up. Okay! So, the sound design is actually really nice in Warthunder when it comes to directional sounds. The reason you can hear a plane at 2.5km out is because sound leaves a propeller/turbine much easier behind it as well as to the sides (More so for propellers), because air is what carries the sound (Hence silence in space) So someone behind you, their sound would get washed out of your engine sounds carrying behind you, while their sound is struggling to get in front of them, this gets especially worse when flying MACH 1 and above. So, you can complain, but, hey, they're the ones doing the realistic sound design

This fails to take into consideration sound bouncing off of terrain. Think of hearing an aircraft in real life. You hear propeller craft long before you see them, even when in front of them. War Thunder acts like every aircraft is traveling at Mach speed.

I've been getting lots of aces with the Mariner (arcade) just flying into the pack and letting my gunners do the work. It takes a lot of damage. 193 spawns, 179 deaths, 189 air targets killed, 1396 ground targets.

Ju88 at br2.3 is my fav low tier bomber. It is maneuverable with great airbreaks, gunners and bombload. Plus it can be used as a dive bomber for precision bombing :)

You should take a bomber with a high payload out, fly it really high up, set the series to all, and just drop all of your bombs at once. They spread out from higher altitudes and it's actually really funny.

phly you should try the H16 version, it has that new HD cockpit and the belly gunner is broken as it can shoot through the fuselage so you can have 3 guns aimed at an aircraft above you XD
