He was patient and kind and his passion for helping others was truly displayed during our conversation. Thank you so much. I would certainly recommend his services

This was a REALLY good video demonstrating a REAL problem in a REAL home with REAL browning... The analogy of the apple vs carpet browning was very helpful too in order to help others understand the issue. I had a question: I'm finding it difficult to find a manufacturer/distributor near me that sells a product meant to neutralize carpet. Can I purchase a powder pH reducer meant for residential pools and make my own extraction/spray bottle solution for my last step? If so, would you just suggest mixing it in distilled water, or would you suggest adding anything else? Also, muriatic acid or sodium bisulphate? Thank you!!

In this video are you spraying something simulsr to vinegar with a ph of 2.....and then extracting on the backwards stroke? Does it really happen that fast? It doesnt have to sit on carpet for awhile first?

Thanks for this info. Treated it yesterday and it got better but still there. Do you have to treat it more than once?

Thank you Higgins. I think I used much too heavy of a solution to clean some heavily soiled floor mats in my mom’s Camry. She noted and complained of a much too dark carpets as if I “spread the dirt” however I knew I removed all of the dirt and stains. The light tan carpet oxidized to a dark brown! Trying this today

Hi Mr. Higens, can this logic be applied to my oxidized blue color carpet problem? I use the Sour Neutralizer but I dont think the color turned to its original color. How much do you mix vinegar (a-5% concentration?) with water? Appreciate your response. Best, Fadhil from Indonesia

used on nylon carpet same discoloration, they looked good right after cleaning, set up air movers to dry faster, when they dry, looked the same discolored.

Then there was still soap residue left in the carpet. Or old soap residue left over from a previous clean, perhaps?

A professional extraction system - They cost a lot of money as they're usually hooked up to a compressor. They're not worth a domestic home buying one! But you might be able to hire one for a day, perhaps?

Just a quick question. Is the carpet sitting on top of tile? If so, that's most likely the reason why you chemical is wicking up and browning out. Other then that great demo on taking care of brown out👍

This is what my rug keeps doing..only in certain spots though. So could you actually just use vinegar with water to remove the brown out of the carpet?

How do you get rid of the lines after cleaning the carpet?
@higenscarpetcleaning43882 жыл бұрын
lines in the carpet after cleaning can be an uneven clean, this can be caused by clogged spray jets on the cleaning wand. Lines can also be caused by improper cleaning technique. You can try re-cleaning and do more overlapping in your cleaning technique. There can be other causes as well. I hope this little tid bit of info is of some help to you. Thank you for your question.

Don't film your subject with the light behind him - filming 101! Your subject is in silhouette every time you point your camera at the window. Stand 'up wind' of him, over by the sofa.

You seem nice. How deeply unhappy you must be; contented people don't leave such mean comments - get some help, 'Jerry' - you're not really angry about carpets are you, but something else...
