Just found your video, i am a interior carpenter but used to lay laminate flooring with a company that also did carpet, but I never went to that side of flooring. I love your comedy about pray you don’t have to be the guy to rip That’s their off because you know you put a shit load of staples my dad the carpet from 69 to about a year or two ago so I grew up in the business Doing it beside him went out on my own a few years ago awls I wanna know is what Store or Contractor decided it was fair to only give carpet guys 4 To about six dollars a yard these days depending on the job because that’s BS Carpet work is hard work and if you wanna go to work because salute man I like your videos

2 Ques: must animal (leopard) print carpet pattern have a specific way to run when its installed on hallway to stairs or pattern blends won't matter? Can the remnants from 1 roll of carpet pattern go on the stairs without looking off (going 2 different directions coming up the stairs onto hallway)? Thanks in advance!

You didn’t remove the excess to fold into the release cuts that would not have looked good close up as the angles would fall on each other, plus I would have used gripper where the stair met the riser no need for staples there. Liked the commentary but any layman looking at this I would advise to look for more content before trying to staple a bullnose.
