How to install a kit that enables Wireless Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto in Mercedes C-Class GLC 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 W205 X253 C253

If you own a 2019 or older GLC you can install the module right underneath the center stack below where the cup holders go. I just installed this in my 2019 GLC63 with Command / Burmeister. I wasn’t expecting it to sound better than stock! It sounds fantastic, wife reported that the call quality is also crystal clear. Finally I have CarPlay! Well done GTA Car Kits great product

I used a dremel tool with flexible extension attachment to cut out the square hole to route the 2 USB cables.

Hello ,Installed GTA Car kit on C300 2015 , trying to play sound Android Auto , Screen coming up but no Audio , either blue tooth , it shows two blue tooth 1 ) MB and other one GTA Car Kit Bluetooth. Tried both , but no sound so far. Update. As per GTA support , C300 2015 needs Audio cable from original MB to be Transferred to the harness. The above video does not show this. Issue solved now. Also disabled the MB Bluetooth so it can connect only GTA bluetooth and set MB to USB1 slot which connected through drilled hole to O/P. Randomly the screen goes blank, that due phone picking WIFi hotspot. Tweaked phone so far good.

I just installed it was exited that I was able to connect to CarPlay but no audio. In the video you did not show audio playing from the car speakers I don’t get any audio from the radio either. It will be helpful if you tell us how to fix the issue.

I believe he mentioned that you have to select USB 1 as your audio source from the factory Mercedes COMAND screen before switching over to the CarPlay screen 👍🏻

What the damn German car manufacturers have been putting their customers through for 20 years is just pathetic!!! It hurts just to watch!!! Seriously!!! That was already a dilemma back then with burned CDs... If you have that, it doesn't work, if you take the equipment the CD manufacturer won't work blah blah!!! It can't be that difficult to offer a damn Apple Car Play from the factory when a cheap Seat could do it at the same time!!! Just embarrassing!!
