Definitely got you where you said, ''your car is your safe space for venting, listening to music and whatever'' I always let the personal that gives me a list be alone some times. I'll be on some no I am okay today, I need to pass somewhere. So, when I get my own this will be my top 1.

The main issue I’ve found is if you are getting remuneration for the carpooling. It changes the use of the car from personal to business.

Car pooling should not invole remuneration.The passengers should pay for fuel and the bill should be split between the passengers.The driver/owner should benefit by not paying for fuel.

@@goodenoughcele2068 passengers sharing the bills with the owner of the vehicle is its own type of remuneration. The driver ends up paying less towards these costs than they would pay without the passengers.

If sharing with your family this isn’t viewed as an issue (obviously). If driving your friends sparingly / some weekends - this is also not viewed as an issue. But once you in the business of sharing your car with non-family members, especially if you charge them, this is when insurance is interested. (Same way taxi drivers and Ubers are required to have PrDPs , transporting fare-paying passengers has risks involved that have not been factored into your premium).

😂😂Not me thinking you live where I live. At this point, all these properties look the same. 😂 Eyy, the carpooling topic can be very uncomfortable, especially if you are not an assertive.....we will just send them the link to your video so that you can deal with them accordingly 😂.

😂😂😂♥️ shot this video in 2022 so it’s very possible you live where I used to live back in JHB. 🤣😭 I made this video after I declined giving someone a lift but my main reason for declining was because he said it’s the “least I could do” since I had a car and he didn’t. But doing my research helped me get more credible reasons to say no as opposed to just telling him I didn’t like his entitlement.
