Awesome I finally found this video. I just bought this recently and wanted to know how it works, I do have one question to make it more potent with iron remover could I put extra in? For instance the carpro iron X at a little bit to the iron x Snow flame will that be okay?

Currently have Meguiars Fast Finish on as a sealant. My goal is to apply Hydro Silex as the final product. Should I wash my truck with Purple Power first to remove sealant, or just go straight to the CarPro Iron X Snow soap prewash? I am wanting to use iron X as clay lube as well

Use an I.P. wash to remove the sealant (isopropyl alcohol)

As per instruction you are not to dilute in the foam gun. The foam is really thick when used this way even with a 1300 psi electric pressure washer. 4oz did the whole car

Does this replace a iron romoval spray? Or is it for lite ferrous removal? I have had issues ( spotting) on black plastic trim fro iron spray overspray.obviously this is safe on plastic.yes?

If you have a ceramic coating... this is not needed. A dedicated ph neutral shampoo is fine.

Hey Brian I did some reading a while ago about how classic cars are much more prone to rust than modern cars and any amount of moisture introduced into the cracks and crevices can pose a threat to do potential damage later on down the road; so using an open water source to clean the vehicle should be avoided. The article stated that only a waterless wash should be used in order to avoid rust issues. What is your opinion on this topic? A ploy to get you to buy expensive rinseless washes. I have built, owned, detailed classic and antiques since I could drive. If that was the case ... nobody in the 70's and 80's would have driven in the rain which is laughable. The fact is modern cars have 25% less metal and more plastic. I coat all undercarriage and areas exposed to free flowing water with MP HD protectant. No worries washing with a garden hose every day if I felt inclined. 😁

Hi Brian. Between the electric pressure washer and the Krause and Becker air washer, if you were an beginner with only 2 cars to care for on the weekends, which would be the first thing to buy in terms of its usefulness. I plan to use the 2-bucket method as I am not skilled to guarantee a scratch-free rinseless wash.

I would never substitute this as a way of skipping the fallout removing stage personally. It's far too diluted to do actual work

I'm assuming you're referring to this soap, not regular IronX? I personally prefer the foamer over the cannon if I have the extra time. I do a quick rinse, then foam with the IK, thorough rinse, foam again, then the contact wash with multiple mitts like Brian has demonstrated. It is the ideal contact method. I will never *ever* use grit guards *ever again..ever* 😁👍👌👌 Foamer offers precision and control for thorough coverage. It is also a more efficient use of the product you're using. Time wise, powerful pressure washers are the efficient choice.
