The Carpuride W103 Pro is an impressive dashboard console that can transform your tech-less vehicle’s dashboard into a wireless multimedia centre to rival the likes of Tesla, BMW and Honda. BUT, it won’t come at the price of a new car, and is a very cheap hack to get you an impressive touchscreen.
The Carpuride W103 Pro features a quality 10.3 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen which supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay, along with a number of other apps to make your driving experience that much more enjoyable. The screen has auto-brightness thanks to a sensor on the back and is very responsive to touch.
It benefits from built-in 5G WiFi and dual bluetooth 5.0, along with Apple’s Siri and Google’s Android voice control, thanks to its built-in microphone.
The W103 Pro infotainment system also has four ways to play music. From its built-in 5w speaker, from an AUX 3.5mm cable, from the FM transmitter app via your vehicle’s radio frequency and by your vehicle’s bluetooth connectivity.
There are ports for a micro-SD card and USB stick, so you can play music, videos and photos on the screen from external sources, and there is also a 2.5mm aux port to add a reversing camera, which can be purchased separately from Carpuride (link above).

Carpuride apps include an equaliser for your music, hands-free bluetooth calls, AirPlay for wireless mirroring of your apple device and AutoLink for a wired mirroring of your Apple or Android phone, which requires the downloading of a third-party app.
The device is powered by type-C input and a USB-C to 12v port cable is provided in the box, along with a AUX cable and two mounts. You can attach the infotainment console to your dashboard or window using the strong, adjustable suction cup mount, or use the more-permanent sticky pad mount.
Carpuride has a whole range of other dashboard consoles and accessories to suit all 12v-24v vehicles, set-ups and requirements.
Overall, it’s a great device which is a much cheaper way to add serious tech into your car, than buying a new vehicle and is also a fantastic Spotify Car Thing alternative.

Hey, quick question: When connecting the Carpuride to the car's bluetooh can you use track skipping/seek functions on the steering wheel for example? What about aux? Does that let you control which track via the steering wheel so you dont have to look away to the screen all the time? Thanks

Since I don’t see this guy answering any questions on the comment section, but did mention I believe that it didn’t have steering control function via aux cable, there is a workaround due to the multiple bt functionality. You can buy a bt controller that clips to your steering wheel which had all the necessary buttons to skip tracks, turn the volume up/down and some even have voice or home button control functions as well. I don’t own this device but almost certain this will work.

@@davemontano3790 Hey, thanks for your reply. I found my answer online later. The Carpuride does *not* support steering wheel controls. However, an almost identical device, the Carpodgo T3 Pro *does* support steering wheel controls. I have one now, and love it!

Hello. Are you able to pick a song on your phone from KZbin, just normal youtube vids, not youtube music or anything, and have the sound of the song come through car speakers? Or does the devise think your watching youtube and not work?

Hi, yes if you play KZbin on your phone whilst connected to the Carpuride device, then because you're connected to the car via bluetooth any sound will come through your car speakers. Tested it this morning :)

I noticed that portable devises like this one are very thin which is great, but I also see the built in aftermarket units look like boxes. Why on earth are they so big when they can be made like the Carpuride one here in your review? What’s all the extra stuff all about in the box behind the screen? Very strange.

Hi, so how does it work if you have multiple users, say one has Android and the other has an iPhone? Can multiple phones be programmed and how does it know which one to connect during startup?

Hi, I don't know about Android vs iPhone (as I don't have an iPhone to test it with) but if you have two phones set up then it seems to just pick up whichever bluetooth signal it gets to first. It appears you'd have to turn bluetooth off on that phone before starting the device, so it connects to the one you want.

Through the car speakers if you're connected to the vehicle. Whilst the device has a built-in speaker, you can turn it off, which I have.

It will play KZbin music but not KZbin TV/videos from an app. You could mirror KZbin to it if you have an iPhone, but I guess they don't want people watching videos while they drive so don't make it easy

Hi, I've just tested it with two Android phones and it doesn't appear to work that way. It seems to just pick up whichever bluetooth signal it gets to first and you can't change the phone it's connect to from the display.
