They are both good. 2013-2015 was fine. 2016/17 facelift is better. 2018-2021 are also good but obviously from outside the 16/17 is better. The interior is better on the 2018-2021 though :). 2022 and older than 2013 are ass cracks.

This video is absolutely thorough! Great details and painstaking analysis of the Accord. In fact, I'd say that this is a 360 degree review of the different trims of the Accord. Also, the integration of the reviews and comparison of the competing models into this one video is absolutely masterpiece! I give you double thumbs up for the excellent effort you put into the making of this video. Well done!!!

Great review - a bit long but you can't be thorough in 5 minutes. I have the same car. I have 1 thing to say about the CVT. The reason you don't like it is exactly why I love it. What you did not notice (or discuss) is that you can simulate the gear shift. The mechanism is so much more flexible, because you are in control. When you are accelerating lift your foot off the gas (as if in manual) and the gear shifts and then again if you do it again. So you get that great feeling and the control. The only thing I have not been able to do is downshift!

I didn’t know there were four cylinder versions of the Touring trim level. Like you, I also don’t understand why the lights in the doors are not LEDs like the lights on the front. One would think that once they replaced one set of lights with LEDs that they would replace ALL of the lights with LEDs.

But the 4 cylinder has a cvt 🙄
@aaronwillis18645 жыл бұрын
@@Gtbomb1 I know that. I've owned the Sport version. I don't why Honda wants to do CVT. It is for the purpose of having better fuel economy but why? Honda are already one of the kings of the automobile industry in fuel economy. CVT is something NO ONE wanted. Think about it: Why would Honda charge customers a whole lot of money for their best trim, the V6 Touring with the 6-speed auto transmission and the legendary V6 engine? Because, it IS the best version. Honda should've stuck with 4-speed AT. The only f-ed up thing wrong with the Touring is that it has a touch screen volume control--again something NO ONE wanted! But I'll buy a Japanese vehicle that doesn't have that god-awful CVT.
