is it safe to trust this sensing? Today I got my self 2017 touring
@CPageAuto8 жыл бұрын
It is safe, but I wouldn't (and one shouldn't) completely rely on any "sensing" for driving. It is there to help in certain driving situations. Nice choice on the Touring, I hope you enjoy it!

2016 Accord ex sensing. I don't want the adaptive cruise control, just an easy way to turn cruise on off???? My button says main rather than cruise as in your other video. BTW, excellent video and tutorial. Probably the best I have seen!!!! Thought you were going to talk more about the iPhone Bluetooth/connected usability (in this and the other video).
@CPageAuto8 жыл бұрын
If you go to about 1.45 in the video it tells you how to change to regular cruise control. I have had another person asking me about iPhone connectivity and carplay, what is it that is your question and I will do a vid on it. Thanks for the comment and view!

@@CPageAuto does the Adaptive Cruise Control work in start stop highway traffic? I mean once you’re at 0 mph, once the car in front accellerate, you automatically accelerate

Dear Sir, how do you turn off the automatic high beam light?
@deblandrum31587 жыл бұрын
Here's where to turn OFF the forward collision sensing.... On twisting / turning roads - such as in the mountains. The first time that the damn thing put my brakes on HARD because it though I was going to hit the guy in the other lane, the guy BEHIND me almost hit ME! Some of the sensing stuff is fine, but the forward collision mitigation needs to have a very simple on/off function before it causes a wreck!

Need help badly! I just have a 2019 Honda Civic EX for 5 days. I have no idea how the sensing works n have never tried that. All of a sudden a series of problem messages show up saying ‘ ACC problem’ ‘ LKA problem. Road mitigation problem etc . Ie all sensing features have problems. I have wiped both sensors clean. I have turned off the ignition n restart the car many times but I still have those messages. Please explain what has gone wrong. Thanks.

You should of rested you hands behind your head. Not quite trusting it yet when you made this video? I used mine for a 75 miles trip home when I bought the 17 accord touring the other night. It did fantastic, even on wider turns. When the turn got too tight, I didn't realize it yet, but I needed to grab the steering wheel. For the rest of the trip home my wife's hands were that close to the steering wheel too. LOL But overall I was impressed with it. ITs as close as Ive been to a self driving car. What the slowest speed adaptive cruise is able to work with. Lets say rush hour traffic stop and go, Does it still work if you don't come to a complete stop. And if it does, do you just tap the gas a little and the system kicks back in?

how do I change the temperature Guage from hi lo to numbered
@CPageAuto8 жыл бұрын
If you are talking about the temperature as far as the AC, Lo and Hi are the 2 extremes and pushing the up or down controls on either side of the AC unit will get you the numbers.

Sorry first time driver here! Is your foot on the accelerator or brake during ACC ?
@11Houston118 жыл бұрын
Nether one - active cruse once set by you the car will maintain the speed you set. If a car in front of you is going slower, your car will slow. It will auto break too. This is not meant to replace you and your input but to help.

If I'm driving say 35 mph, and the car senses I'm going to crash into the person in front of me, will it stop? or does that only work at 45+ also?
@CPageAuto8 жыл бұрын
It will begin the braking process for you. Depending on the speed you are going it should stop you. At higher speeds it will "mitigate" your collision to reduce the impact. But at most city driving it'll stop you before an accident.
@tripjet9998 жыл бұрын
Hopefully, YOU are paying attention, which should prevent an accident in the first place. Same for driver behind you, we hope.

does the adaptive cruise for stop and go traffic

No it doesn't have stop and go. It does have a brake pedal though :)

+CPageAuto Honda if the person in front of me reduces their speed to 20 m/hr and then speeds back up does the ACC work in that situation. Basically, is there a speed limit for the ACC or can it work at 5m/hr.
@CPageAuto8 жыл бұрын
I believe the Accord, and Pilot only work at 35 or 40+ mph. The Civic and maybe the new Ridgeline have low speed follow.
@Iridescentshard8 жыл бұрын
My civic does, it goes down to 0 ( a completely stop) then I click resume and it speeds back up by itself ..
