Price, Quality and *FEATURES* . For example I just looked at Ram dealership inventory on their websites. These pickups have been so expensive I've not paid attention to cab and bed size. Every truck offered, new or used, is a four door crew cab with a tiny short bed. Utterly useless to me at any price. I do not need a crew cab and I do absolutely need a longer bed. Ideally, the extended cab for behind the seats storage with a 6+ foot bed. No Ram dealer around me offers this.

Why would they do that? There is no incentive. As of now most people see no problem with going 80k in debt for a vehicle. Its just the same as housing. I hope you're not believing TK's sources; it's not happening. TK is just click bating. The dealer will never let anyone walk out with the cuts. Dealers will double dip; we have already seen proof of that on Gladiators. They'll cut, then add the add-ons, gap, life, warranties, etc. I would love it if they would slash the MSRP's by that much, looking for a new Ram or Rubicon. The only way the manufacturer could enforce those cuts, if you bought the vehicle directly from the manufacturer. If Stellantis was slashing the price by that much, TK would have bought a new truck instead of a used one with a bad engine.

They all include 3 year, 36,000 mile warranties, with 5 years and 60,000 mile guaranties for the engines and transmissions, from the date of purchase by the customer.

It does not matter they are built with planned obsolescence that will financially drain you. The computer systems can short circut elements in the vehicle to keep you on a financial draining train ride. The risk of job loss and reliablity is to high to invest in a new vehicle.
@dvader3263Күн бұрын
Yes, those darn computers which manufacturers have installed in vehicles since the 1970s.

I tried to buy a 25 rebel, they would not budge 72k out the door, the rumors are not true, and if they are , these dealerships are not participating.
@stevenj42111 сағат бұрын
Strange . I went to a dealership 3 weeks ago and all they wanted was to sell me the Rebel. They came down to 64K. I wasn't even trying to negotiate either the manger reduced the price. They had a lot full of them rows ,and rows. I didn't even want one. I stopped by a few days ago for the 3500 , never arrived. The Rebels are sold out. I'm in the market for 3500 DRW, until I found out about the OBD ports.

No price cuts in sight. I think the sources he keeps referring to are other KZbinrs. They can all be sources for each other and start whatever rumors they want.

Which isn’t a bad thing, the more people that watch these rumours, the less likely they are to buy a new vehicle. It definitely has an impact on

$1000 for a “document” fee? Absolutely insane. Even with wining lottery money I’d not buy brand new unless they struck that and all the other junk fees. Funny thing many commentators have said they have asked for this as they want rigs, contractors, rich people and they dealers still say NO. Good riddance to most then.

They make good vehicle oversea hilux, patrol, and jimny. These are affordable vehicles built very well. US manufacturers and EPA are destroying the way they need to be built by putting and adding more airbags than buildings more durable products.

Just make a sturdy pickup with no frills and sell it for sub 20k. More gadgets just means more stuff to quit working. Give me a basic dependable truck I can drive for a decade minimum.

Thanks for the video! What another problem is that Stellantis did not just hike up prices, but more importantly gutted the quality and reliability of these vehicles. A union worker stated that they had started using thinner sheets of metal, co netting some parts into plastic, and the general manufacturing quality decreased dramatically. Yet increasing prices

Excellent breakdown on market conditions in the truck/SUV market. What unfortunately will happen is that even with the fire sales, the low quality and recall issues will still make buyers do a "hard" pause. I am currently stuck on "pause" at pulling the trigger even when deep discount sales do start happening. So glad I found your channel.

My aunt & uncle LOVE Jeep unconditionally, and even they waited for lower interest rates and incentives to trade her 2018 Grand Cherokee in for a brand new one. Her 2018 was in the shop for 4 weeks waiting on a new PCM, but they still wanted to stick with Jeep. The quality issues don't seem to matter too much to the fanbase, it's all about the B R A N D

Brandon, do people really shop reliability? 2024 sales numbers - 1. F150 - 732,139 units, 2. Chevy Silverado - 542,517 units, 6. Ram pickup - 373,120 units. Not sure they are shopping reliability.

I work in extended warranty administration and today I saw a 2025 Dodge Rebel 1500 claim with less than 2500 miles and the transmission went out. Don't think no one wants a brand new vehicle that can't even go past the basic factory power train warranty. At this point... 1/2 price off will maybe move the vehicles....maybe 😂.

In Houston seeing stealerships registering there 2022 leftovers selling them with 22 miles yes 22 miles as used, means no warranty to have to worry about. Sure you’re getting a deal, but you’re loosing the warranty. I took a screenshot of just such an example

Rust happens to all vehicles once they leave the factory, especially as most vehicles on Earth sit outside their entire life.

Let's just see here a sec. $107K Truck - 35% ($35,450) = 71,550.00 Which used to be the top priced trucks offered at the time. Now considering that offering was not a Platinum or King Ranch it's still over-priced by 25,000.00. Therefore a 60% off would make that same truck 42,800.00 WHICH IS WHAT THE DAMN TRUCK SOLD FOR PRE-COVID. Personally I bought a 2017 Laramie Quad Cab for 35,100.00 pre tax,tag,title fees. OTD Price 40893.87 I WOULD BUY THAT TRUCK AT THAT PRICE AGAIN YES, but NOT FOR 100K

the first truck manufacturer that goes back to vent windows, hand crank windows, manual transmission , floor shift 4wd, and no backup camera electronic orgasmotron BS,, will make bank. i have a 09 silverado that has too much BS in my opinion, and have zero interest in all the gagetry they have added to even newer pickup trucks. new vehicles have about a 6 to 8 year window of use, then the electronics go to shit and they nickel and dime themselves into the scrapyard.
