I just want to say that I am looking this up specifically because I happened to be lucky enough to take part in one of these at Mr. Fogg’s Tavern in London this February on my first trip to the UK. I had such a jolly good time that I’ve been telling everyone about it and I even hosted my own sing-along at Burning Man in Nevada in August. It wasn’t nearly as good because I can’t play the piano. ;) Tom can you come with me next year? Bless you good sir for keeping these traditions alive, taking that leap of faith, and generally being a swell chap.

Birchanger, you can be a much better audience. Tom will be performing on 11th November for a good old fashioned knees up.Please come along with your best voices because mine is bad, but I can't help joining in. I come from the East End and Mum and Dad brought me up on this. Should be a great finale to our WWI commemoration.

Do you or have you ever been a classical pianist Tom ?

No. I worked as a Musical Director and keyboard player on theatre shows before I started my sing-a-long work but never worked as a classical pianist.

Brilliant pianist but his singing bored us to tears at Fort for victory Gravesend Kent this year. Left the event over an hour early due to his all the same tempo songs. God help Surrey jive next November 11th 2023 he's booked. I couldn't suffer Tom again

You sure your accent is 100% wrong you sound very middle class no wonder no one was joining in Would sound so much better on an old Pub / School piano it's not right sound on something decent like that & sorry but there's no energy etc in his singing it's like a comedy sketch Yes I'm from London

ramon duke They we’re joining in - just no mics on the audience. Yes, my accent is wrong. I’m not a cockney - and never claim to be. I was born and raised in Coventry. Saying that, I’m one of a small bunch of musicians keeping this material alive. My usual gigs are in pubs with my mobile piano - just like you’re suggesting.
