Pleased to see that youve hooked up with Warren (in Previous vids) he is a legend especially in the VXR world & he has some tasty performance mods on his website. Good vid, EBC discs are great & the non contact areas will not rust which can look unsightly over a period of time.

Yeah just waiting for my wear pattern to get sorted (slight bit of black slightly scored on one side) and then I'll actually test these brakes aha. Warren is a guru. Couldn't recommend him enough, just hope I can help promote him even a small amount as he deserves every bit of exposure possible. He's excellent.

I put EBC USR disks and pads all round on my st 200 about six months ago also Did brake pipes as well and stopping power is so much better over Standard just be very careful bending them in if you don’t do it right you can melt the pads

Yeah been doing very slow braking and as little pressure as I can for 200 miles. Just waiting till I can see a solid silver section, at the moment one side is a little black left on a section so gonna do it for a few more miles

Car Rambles I don’t know about the blue ones you’ve got but the yellow stuff ones I have do chuck out a lot of break dust but having black wheels anyway doesn’t really show much on mine, you can break so much later

It's a good solution to buy the ebc kit (front and rear discs, yellow pads, ergal tubes and motul rbf660 oil) for a road use?

After a lot of searching on tinternet you can use a trolly jack on front subframe and rear beam...then support with axel stands 👍

If it's just pads, 200 miles ISH of very gentle braking, not reaching high speeds (60+). Then normally depending on the pad, a few 60 -20 mph brakes in a row and then you're set. Pads and discs are harder, discs can take anywhere from 200 to 800 miles but you have to be even more gentle (30 - 50mph) urban miles. Once you have what looks like consistent scoring where you can tell the whole pad has made contact with the discs you can then proceed to do the hard braking in a row to generate heat and build up a brake pad layer. So basically. 200 miles with soft soft braking, followed by 5 - 10 (depending on if it's standard brakes of performance) 60 -20mph hard brakes.

They are dusty but I feel like every brake pad is if you upgrade. Definitely not as bad as some pads though. They are ok from cold. Like a normal pad. Excellent when warm

They are indeed, I think I'm almost there, just one side has a slightly smaller band of silver (tiny bit of the black coating left) so gonna do more light breaking until that's sorted

I literally came in to the comments to say exactly this, I have never seen anyone use a torque wrench to undo brake carrier bolts or any bolts for that matter🤣 I'd say that torque wrench needs calibrating now. Also the fact that you had a torque wrench and didn't bother torquing the bolts down at all, 90 or so nm would have been suffice (they're 200 on my car) is beyond me🤦
