Long story short:
Discs - 200 to 800 Miles depending on pad usage and conditions.... Ensure consistant banding. Very light braking
Pads - 200 miles ish...very light braking. Ensure good contact, followed by 5 hard stops, drive around to cool and another 5 hard stops.

My bedding process was the opposite (different brand obviously). Could do the 8-10 moderate slow downs, then 5 harder slow downs, then drive 500km lol. We are backwards in Australia. Get it on track mate and you will love it.

Very strange because it makes sense to ensure your pads and discs are a tiny bit worn and have great contact before transferring the heat and pad material but yeah all pads and brakes are different aha

Hey thanks for the video, very interesting! Did you drive these pads on the track? How was the performance? Did the discs stand the heat well?

How many 60-20 hard brakes for yellow stuff and did you get a rubbing noise at first just after you installed them. If so, how long did it last? I guess it’s usual while the pad is brand new?

Instructions say at least 5. I had no rubbing noise. What rubbing and where? Instructions do say some squeal or slight dragging is normal and could persist up to 500-1000 miles. Did you not see the box insert?

You using bluestuff pads as a daily or track pad? Was looking at these but not r90 approved for fiesta. Only 70-80 cars its approved for at the mo.

I'm just gonna reply with this and you make your own mind up what I'm using it as. 🤫 I was told by ebc themselves that it's actually been approved for the fiesta but makes no difference for me. ;)

I just went straight in with braking hard as testing after fitting and they feel soft and not as good as before. I then thought maybe they need bedding in. Which obviously I do. Question - have I damaged them or shall I just do 200-300 miles soft use before going into harder breaking and should be ok?

Ummmmmm I mean I'm not brake tech but as long as you havnt had them glowing you'll be ok.. I would check for cracking on discs / pad just quickly but I'm sure you are fine

Remember your are slowly building up a layer of brack pad on the disc. That's what stops you better

@@CarRambles oh no ha just done about 30 miles in total and 75% was normal braking not conscious ly soft and then a handful of full in braking hard to test them. I was worried as was hoping for much better brakes after EBC discs and greenstuff pads plus HEL hoses and at the mo no better braking than standard but guess it's because the pads have not bed in yet?
