i understand why people hate them. They are cheaters and both being very clumsy to realize the love they ever wanted. But in this case, because of the cheating part, i think this making them very relative to each other. They actually really love each other but just take a long to understand it. It tickles me that he wanted to protect her & defend her & he places his coat on her. As an older woman I wanted a man to do that for me. Of course I can protect myself & afford to buy my own coat, when a man offers it makes me feel loved. Call me old fashioned it makes me feel secure & wanted & warm and fuzzy. In other episodes where Big wraps his arms around Carrie's waist ( she's very petite) me not so much, it gives me goosebumps!!! Sure he has human frailties, but on the other hand there are times when John Preston gets it right!!!! On this evening in Paris he did!!!! So sweet. Funny & a gentleman. Nothing wrong with a woman being swept off her feet once in a while. I believe people need romance, & to be wined & dined.
