I named my daughter Leia Frances after Carrie. Not the character, but Carrie Frances Fisher, the amazing human being. Funny, beautiful, strong as the hulk, compassionate. She was and is still SO very loved. RIP, woman!

I don't know why people act like the Star Wars sequels were so especially horrible. Every trilogy apart for the original was horrible. But it's a Star Wars movie, stop taking it so seriously. honestly I wouldnt mind if they "created" new Star Wars movies just to spread feminism... but damn, at least give us a decent story, a decent script, decent characters' arcs and don't bring in old favourite characters just to kill them off (since they act as a bait anyway) and don't let things in movies happen just out of fun/cuz they look cool and expect for us to just "deal with them" when they make absolutelly no sence at all in the plot...

Leia was the worst part of the new fanchise. She went from an estrategic leader to some stupid commander that allowed the Empire to grow bigger after losing Vader and the Death Star. They wanted to do the same movie all over again so bad that the cost was Leia being smart.
