Yes, she started dating older men, as a teen, and had an affair with Harrison Ford, during the first movie’s production. Ford was a 34 or 35 year old, married man, with two children, and she was 19.

Thank you for this comment because I feel that Mark Hamill was intimidated and the one that was more mature. Maybe I talked to him online and he is one of my favorite actors who had more professional training than some who were on drugs. I read that Carrie and Harrison where on drugs during some important scenes and he didn't them to be a good actor. I don't care if anyone gets mad at my comment because I am disgusted at the lack of quality actors in Hollywood for decades. He is one of the few who became such an icon with a quality in acting like he had been to this school the best for training in arts for drama and singing all kinds of entertaining:The Julliard School. He has conviction in the quality of what he did for work and cares about this family. He has lived in my opinion someone in the past that set an excellent example of a family in Hollywood that stayed out of the glitch and glamour and tried to do best he could to help his family have values in the cesspool of Hollywood. Personally I was in drama club in High School and that is not an easy thing to do if you have low self esteem. If I was still young and beautiful it would be such a temptation to knock their socks off and show them I can act and sing.

@@Annieisfreejustlikebutterflies I'm pretty sure, under Trump for a president, things like what occurred to Carrie Fishers name after her passing would only increase as opposed to before less frequent. I cannot understand how anyone who has paid the slightest attention to the mans actions, his unbelievably vile and often wholly dishonest slanderizing and confirmed outright lies that he's spread about people through the media is well established. Calling out well knownthr late senator/war hero and former Hanoi Hilton prisoner and torture victim John McCain's war record into question, and calling him a coward(??!!) was unbelievably sleazy and in my opinion FAR worse than the treatment Fisher's name received. And this from a man who intentionally dodged the draft for Viet Nam to call McCain a coward and the soldiers buried in Arlington Nation Cemetery as "losers" makes me sick and I don't know how ANYONE could defend that behavior. It's just so nasty and sleazy and the fact that he raped well known author EJean Carrol and taunted her about it daring her to get any justice for it,well. I think that there should say enough about the man. How would you feel if it was your daughter he raped, or your veteran son who died in combat that he called a "loser" or your war hero father who spent years being tortured in a Viet Namese torture camp for his service to his country a "coward?" His foul deeds and words are beyond contemptuous, they are evil and indefensible. Period.

When people overshare to a great degree, it is a response to trauma in their life. Usually they are trying to work through what they are talking about/oversharing. I did not know this until my son, who was a Psychology major in college, told me about 5-6 years ago. I wish I had known much earlier so I would always have listened to people with a good deal of sympathy.

I want to thank you for sharing this video with us. There's never been a movie that has been more influential, iconic, amazing, incredible, beautiful, unbelievable, unforgettable, exciting, phenomenal, and, well the adjectives go on and on and on and on. I was 9 years old when Star Wars premiered. I was there during those first days. Lines around the building, around the block, down the sidewalk. It was really special. Star Wars was like nothing that was ever seen before. Star Trek and Buck Rogers were a couple of other Sci-Fi movies that had fans, but Star Wars? That was on a level like nobody had ever seen or even thought could ever happen. Mark Hamill was every young boy's Role Model. Obi-Wan Kenobi was the kind wise teacher, Han Solo was the gruff Space Pirate, and his co-pilot Chewbacca was like a big loveable 🐕dog🐕. A really BIG dog. LOL. He was Han Solo's protector, guard, and best friend. Then there's Princess Leia Organa. She was so incredibly beautiful, her smile and those eyes could make anyone melt, but she had a strength, an internal power which made her someone who would never Quit, or NEVER EVER GIVE UP. It didn't matter who she was facing, talking to, debating with, or whatever, Princess Leia Organa always had confidence and strength. That made her a great Role Model for young girls, and even women. Carrie Fisher was like that person too. She was tough, strong, and she never ever gave up or quit. Which is one reason, one of SO MANY reason why she is loved by so many people. Her books are extremely important. She doesn't hold anything back. She is a extremely rare and special person. Unlike Harrison Ford who had little to no respect for his Character (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher embraced her character. She joked about having a 3.75" toy of herself. How there were people sitting on her "face" all over the world. That being because her image was on Pajamas, 👕T-Shirts👕, and 🩲Underwear🩲. Even🧦socks🧦 and other items had her face/image on it. She joked that whenever she looked in the mirror she had to pay George Lucas money since he now "owned" her likeness. Also that it was ironic that Star Wars images were on Underwear when according to George Lucas, they didn't wear Underwear in Star Wars....lol. I saw one of Carrie Fisher's "Fireside Chats". She was on stage, a makeshift Living room, a 🛋couch🛋, 🪑chairs🪑, a🪞mirror🪞, and other props. She basically either sat on the couch, laid on the couch, or walked a bit and talked to the crowd. She discussed her books, her life, her family, her family issues and gossip, and of course Star Wars. If you haven't seen these, do yourself a favor and look for it! It is absolutely worth it! Not only does she share some "juicy" behind the scenes info about Star Wars, but she also discusses her own personal issues, in depth! You learn that she had experienced some pretty tough times. She had some serious problems with her health. Both physically and mentally, but also emotionally as well. You learn just how tough and how strong Carrie Fisher truly was. Mark Hamill is also one of the stars of this iconic franchise that embraced his character. However I have to admit, his role as the voice of the 🃏🃏JOKER🃏🃏 in the Batman animated movies and television shows is also one of the most amazing and phenomenal jobs he's done next to Luke Skywalker. Franchises like Star Wars are like ⚡Lightning⚡in⚡a⚡Bottle⚡. Very rare, and the odds of it happening again are Miniscule. Sorry for the long comment but I have been a fan of this franchise since it began. I have close to 500+ of the action figures, plus ships, Die-Cast cars, and ships, "playsets", and 📚📖books📖📚? Yikes. At least 5-10 First Edition Hardcover Novels, another 10-15 later printed Hardcover 📚books📚, and at least 200 Paperback novels, and another 10-15 Graphic Novels and Comic Books. I've read each one at least twice, some of them 4-5 times. It is the most unique story ever created and the books really add more and more layers to the characters and the storylines. Perfection personified!
