I've been a fan of this musical since I saw it in Lousville, KY a few years back. As a matter of fact, it's been my absolute favorite musical since then. I have gone as far as to watch the OCC, OBC, and countless high school productions of this musical. I often find myself being bored and just start dancing to the songs in my room (I usually assume the roll of Gomez 😹). I have memorized the choreography of the OBC and have the current licensed script mostly memorized. I have wanted Andrew Lippa to do something amazing with this musical, whether it be a revival or a movie, and watching what I can on the UK cast, I can say that he did not disappoint! Though no one, in my mind, can replace the OBC, this cast seems to be pretty great! And Carrie delivers a strong Wednesday. It sucks I'm stuck here in the US and I can't come see the show, but hopefully a cast album will drop (I am BEGGING you to do this, Lippa). Pulled is a very powerful song and Carrie does a great job with it. 👏👏
