I'm 30 and been a daily rider since I was 19. It always hurts to hear a fellow rider never made it home. I almost lost my older brother when he totaled my first bike. We never know when it's our time. We know and accept the risks. But if your husband was anything like me, the only thing on my mind during the close calls I've had were the people I love, and praying that God will take care of them in my absence. 17 yrs ago when this came out my oldest daughter was 8. She loved singing this song. Had no fear, she sang it in our towns homemade American Idol contest. So beautiful it would give me goosebumps. Fast forward 17 yrs.. I'm driving home this comes on radio. Sends goosebumps up and down me. Has me crying. I am now raising my daughters 5 yr old daughter. My daughter is and has been fighting addiction and mental health. I am so scared of losing my daughter. She just celebrated her 25th birthday Monday. I just sent her this song. This song came out the year I got clean, the year I had my baby. It may sound silly but when you have lost everything that means anything to you music becomes your only friend. I wasnt sure if Jesus even liked me at that point but I asked for his help anyway. This is the year that I rebuilt my life and this song will always take me back to that time of feeling so vulnerable, so scared, yet still so hopeful. I’ve been through a lot and when I feel like I can’t steer on my own I throw my hands up and give him the wheel. Last summer my oldest son was driving my suv with my 5year old in the back seat. Somehow my son lost control of the vehicle it hit a curb and a pole flipped in the air and came down facing the opposite direction.....Neither were hurt they walked away with a few scratches. My SUV was totaled but they are here with me 😇Jesus took the wheel!!!Believe and Be blessed!

When I was little, this was one of the few songs my mom would sing aloud in the car, and it always seemed to come on when she needed it the most- needed a reminder of her faith. Every time I hear this, I'm reminded of the endless hours she worked just to be able to feed us and provide us with the same things other kids had at the time. I buried my stepdaughter on the 22nd of May of 2021 we played this song at our funeral her life was full of tries and difficult situations and she was able to finally get her life right off of drugs and had a very promising future when God took her home we played this song at her funeral and he took the wheel and got her well I miss her so much.

I grew up in rural NY, 2 years ago I moved halfway across the country to Missouri. I spent everything I had on a house that I had never seen except the 10 pictures on the listing and just prayed everything was ok. God answered and I have a great life here now and am thankful every day

I almost died in a car accident and right before my car crashed God flashed my whole life in front of me... He said to me, "if I try to hang on to my life, I will lose it. If I give up my life for His sake, I will save it." I told Him, "Jesus, take the wheel. I give you my life." I let go of the steering wheel and instantly God protected me in an invisible shell. I knew He was real, alive and the truth. My car flipped over, fell down to the side of the road and landed upside down. I was stuck in the car until someone came to pry it open. All I could say was "Jesus just saved my life!" I walked away without a scratch and the paramedics thought it was the most insane scene as I flung my hands up telling them God just saved my life! Halleluyah! By His grace, He saved me and I was a born-again believer of God. He is so good, so real and so alive!

When I first listened to this song and it was the first song that I listened to from Carrie Underwood, and I started crying up tears and more tears because of it being so sad but beautiful. Then after I stop crying when listening to it. +Luna Lovegood I've been waiting for 15 years now. I don't think there is an answer. Maybe that's life, God doesn't magically solve your problems. You suffer through it, but humans need hope to survive. God is that hope, I don't think he helps us through everything though. Sometimes it's just enduring it. I would've killed myself ages ago, I didn't because I believe in him and it would hurt my family too much. Nowadays I'm too numb to care, if I die today I would be the happiest person ever. That's all I'm doing nowadays, just hoping and waiting for death.
