APRIL AND HER HUSBAND HAD A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL AND GOD TOOK HOME THEIR MOST BLESSED GIFT FROM GOD AT 3 AND A HALF MONTHS OLD. APRIL HAS HAD LIFE THREATENING EPILEPSY, NARCOLEPSY WITH CATAPLEXY. THE DRUGS SHE MUST BE ON THROUGH LIFE CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS THAT ARE DESTROYING HER ORGANS SLOWLY. APRIL SADLY LOST HER HUSBAND A YEAR AGO, THIS PAST 12 NOVEMBER. SHE IS STILL TRYING TO FIGHT THROUGH LIFE AND STILL HAS JESUS IN HER LIFE. SHE SO WANTED TO BECOME AN ADDICTION THERAPIST. BUT THE DEPTH OF NARCOLEPSY IN HER LIFE HAS DESTROYED THAT DREAM TOO. I am so sorry! I know what you mean. My dad’s best friend passed away last from pancreatic cancer. One day my dad said, “I will never get a call from him again. He was the only person who called me on my birthday, anniversary, and holidays. I guess that won’t happen anymore.” That just broke my heart. I told him if he wanted I could call him on his birthday, anniversary, and holidays even though we live in the same house. All he could do was laugh and smile. His friend touched the lives of many. Listening (again) to this gorgeous piece of music in 2023. Crying buckets (again). So much has happened since I first heard this song and became so emotionally and viscerally attached to it. And even though the course of my life has completely changed and I'm unsure how long I'll be able to stretch my time here, or fight being robbed of those memories I cherish SO much, THIS SONG helps keep me grounded with windows wide open to the past showing me my personal memory movies EXACTLY as they happened. Being able to see my favorite people and relive the times I loved most is worth more than anything in the world to me. No medicine can do better, no money is more satisfying.
