As all three judges said. Carrie is the best example of turning Idol winning into career as a singer successful. Music industry isn't going to come and get you. You must prove it to them, you can do it. Music industry in Nashville didn't want Carrie at all. Carrie by how good she is, force Nashville hand. Nashville wanted her fan base of 20 million fans, but didn't want Carrie. And Carrie's fan base said no Carrie, no fan base. Which is why Nashville musical brass are still pissed at Carrie to this day.
