Let me-Oh my goodness...” Sometimes, I just have to leave it alone or look at it again another time because sometimes, it actually looks fine.

i feel that sometimes when i start a new journal even if it is the same type of journal that i just got done using i feel like not sure about it til i start writing in there and start writing down new memories and thoughts into my journal and then i start to like my journal

Something I do before starting a new journal is going to the last page and making a pen test where I test out all my favourite pens and markers to see what suits the paper best. Hi Carrie, I've recently found your channel and I love your content. I was watching one of your vlogs where you mentioned a good thing to do is introduce yourself to your journal - write about special details of yourself in the present and also being detailed with recounting events. You gave the example of writing about your sister running a specific total of miles in 30 minutes and how it was great to let tour sister know you wrote that about her. You said that in the moment we remember the event or thing we did but later on having those special details are helpful and fun to look back on. I want to thank you for that because my journal entry for today was a lot more detailed and enjoyable to document. Thank you! Take care!

You know what I do with my journal? Every time I start a new month, I make a cover page for that month so that it'll be easier to find if I need to look back to a specific time. If there's an index, that's even better because I will write the page number that I started the new month (its cover page).

Most journals have that awkward first page, it has to do with how the book is bound to the cover. I use double sided tape to put those 2 pages together
