When I was a young boy, I wanted to work in a recording studio, so quit my job in Park Royal, and sent over 100 letters to recording studios around London. None of them replied - apart from one - Easy Street Studio - and I got hired by Eddy Man. Used to cycle all the way to Bethnal Green from Brixton. Worked there on & off for the best part of a year - loved it, in the blue haze - but had to leave for various reasons. It was only a few years after I'd left that I realised who all the people (I'd been helping to record) were - it kind of dawned on me suddenly - what I'd actually witnessed. Just thought I'd share that little ditty. I saw you Carroll, and Sugar - doubt you'd remember me, but thanks for the memories ;-)
