Yeah it’s a pretty deep, dark blue with sheen but it works😁

I love all of the accessories that came with it. It made it more fun to unbox. I inked mine with FWP Plaited Gold Tress.

Exactly!! Plaited Gold Tress? Hmmm 🤔 I haven’t seen that ink, but I looked it up. It looks stunning but is it dark enough to read?

@@CarrotsOlives Yes, it's dark enough, especially when it dries. A pen friend of mine sent me it as a sample and I loved it.

Beautiful pen and you have lovely handwriting. I was tempted by it, as I love my Esties, but I was afraid I'd get a brighter one with more green in it (I dislike green). I prefer to be able to see what I'm getting in those kinds of acrylics unless I love all the colors (like the Candy). It does look like the Dune is the same resin!

I ordered this and was so excited for it, but when I got it, the colors just looked muddy to me. Not nearly as clear and pastel and pretty as they were in the pictures. I had to return it and I was so sad.

Ohhhh noooooooo! This is a first that I’ve heard someone returning because of the colors. Did you get all the color mixed or just some? Hopefully you can find a different pen that brings you the same joy 🥲

@@CarrotsOlives The one I received just looked like kind of a duller version of the Sea Glass, which I already have and like better. For the $350 price tag, it just needed to spark more joy, and there are other, cheaper Esties that I like more. It was a hard decision though, because it looked so cute in the pictures!

Yes, very pretty. I regret missing out on an LE Estie of the past - Peacock. I saw it in person and omg it was so beautiful, I still think about that pen when I consider the ones that “got away”…..but damn - the price for a steel nib is just too high for me to justify. Love your reviews, though, it’s always fun to see the new stuff that comes out. There is a new-ish paper that reminds me of Cosmo Air Light, it’s a Japanese brand called Iroful. I haven’t bought it in a while, but think it is still available.
