I love those Toyo tool boxes. I ended up buying 2 from Greener Grass Design. I chose the yellow and turquoise, which look fabulous together. Thanks for sharing your new esterbrook with us. Such an interesting colorway.

This Estie pen looks like my Franklin Christoph “Cathedral.” I’ve seen these Estie pens in person. They really are pretty, but the price seems high for a steel nib, especially considering you can get the same nib on a much less expensive pen.

You are right. I’m sure the price includes the brand name and it’s history as well. But there’s something really intriguing about a consistent pen shape and all the different colors that attract people who like to collect.

I apologize in advance for being so persnickety, but does the flap on the pen roll prevent the pens from rubbing against each other?

Absolutely, especially when the pen roll is folded on its-self. I always think of it as protecting the pens from falling out of the top, but yes it does help prevent from rubbing. :)

Just curious! I think you are the Goddess of fountain pens. I just got a Leonardo zero and I would like to know how to determine if it is a dup versus the real ting
