I was busy checking out your tackle kit, rod and reel, and then you pull out the Tarantula. I kinda' forgot about everything else at that point. That is one realistic looking bait! Does it float? Does it pop on top of the water when you pull it? I wonder how the big Browns up here would respond to that. I've been a spin fisherman all my life. I used to carry dad's old Eagle Claw 7 piece pack rod on every backpacking trip. I haven't bought any tackle in quite a while and was intrigued by your telescopic rod. Is that unique to your reel? Telescopic rods fit any reel they are all over amazon. The spider does float it dances across the water. Fresh fish is a good meal.
